Cam
DynaCam, an optional addition to the Dynascan 3D mobile mapping range, is a time synchronised 3-way digital camera system; designed for use as an integrated or stand-alone image and video mapping system. The DynaCam is factory aligned and pre-calibrated, ready to use with MDL’s DynaViewer software. Capable of recording up to 5 megapixels at ten frames per second the system can simultaneously stream video over Ethernet and record to internal memory with capacity for up to sixty four hours of full resolution recording. DynaCam features an embedded web user interface for video preview, configuration, control and diagnostics accessible using a standard web browser. A standalone DynaCam can be mounted using a 5/8th survey adapter or solid base plate option. The unit is designed for rugged, all terrain environments and provides an IP rated all weather operation.
DynaViewer Software MDL’s DynaViewer software complements the Dynascan as a mobile mapping data management tool, allowing you to import, navigate and manage huge point cloud data sets. Point clouds taken with the Dynascan are synchronised with the laser trajectory and the videos collected with the DynaCam. DynaViewer allows the user to simultaneously navigate / view the point cloud and videos, whilst also providing the capability to colour the points, take measurements, extract solid images and create flythrough videos. All of this can be exported to a variety of third party software formats.
