Safety First! •Any Automatic equipment can be dangerous if used improperly, and this includes TigerStop and its line of automation equipment: TigerStop, TigerPro, TigerFence (standard and SLR), TigerCrossCut, TigerTurbo, TigerRack, Heavy Duty2 and TigerSaw. •But before you put your tape measure away and start making a TigerStop machine your newest best friend, please read and consider the following safety reminders, some of which may relate to the operation of your other power tools as well. •If a warning is also found elsewhere in this manual or on a label affixed to the machine, the reference is shown in parentheses. Warning: TigerStop, TigerFence, TigerCrossCut, TigerRip Fence, Heavy Duty2, TigerTurbo and TigerRack are machine components intended for use in conjunction with other potentially dangerous machinery. The use of these components does not make that machinery safe. TigerStop, LLC’s products are not intended to substitute, in any manner, for safety requirements in general, or in conjunction with other safety features to make the machine as safe as possible and to ensure that it meets federal, state and local law with respect to safety and all other regulatory requirements. In addition, TigerStop, TigerStop Heavy Duty 2, and TigerTurbo are machine components that should only be operated by qualified persons trained in safe operating procedures. Illustrations of TigerStop, TigerStop Heavy Duty2 and TigerTurbo components in use do not show, and are not intended to show, safety features necessary to make the machinery safe to operate. TigerCrossCut Installation TigerCrossCut Power Requirements • TigerCrossCut requires an isolated circuit. Power requirements are 120vac @ 4A, 50Hz-60Hz • Each new TigerCrossCut is supplied with an internal line filter. Four Important Cautions 1. Do not randomly drill and tap holes in the TigerCrossCut fence beam. This might damage the drive system. All fastening or attachment to the fence beam MUST be made by inserting supplied TigerCrossCut hardware WITH washers! 2. It is CRITICAL that if T-nuts are used to mount TigerCrossCut, the bolts are prevented from tightening through them and into the aluminum fence beam. Again, it is imperative that washers be used! 3. Uneven tightening of the bolts used to fasten down TigerCrossCut to its mounting support can introduce a slight twist or other deformation in the beam. This will result in inaccurate measurement and premature failure of the drive components. 4. The motor box compartment contains DC voltage with potentially FATAL amperage. NEVER attempt any unauthorized actions inside the motor box!
TigerStop must be installed in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as common sense safety requirements. Use only trained professionals when installing TigerStop with existing equipment to ensure a safe and proper work station that will in no way endanger the operator or any other personnel. Do not operate TigerStop without proper training, both in TigerStop operation, and in the operation of adjoining equipment. Before Installation 1. Turn off all power to your saw and remove the power cord from the wall socket. 2. Lock the sliding bed so that it cannot move during installation. 3. Remove the existing crosscut guide. 4. Make sure the mounting surface is smooth and clean. Nothing should prevent a tight fit. 5. Unpack TigerCrossCut and ensure you have all the items listed on the check off sheet on the inside cover.

Install Control Stand to TigerCrossCut 1. Remove TigerCrossCut from the package and lay it face down on the saw table. 2. Mount the controller stand to the T-slot on the bottom of TigerCrossCut.
Mount TigerCrossCut to the slider 1.Position the fence beam so the end closest to the saw blade is about 3 inches from the right end of the sliding arm. The motor end will hang over the edge at the other end and must be supported. Note: Until the fence beam is secured to the slider, have an assistant support the motor end of the machine while positioning it. If not supported, TigerCrossCut could tip over and fall off the table.
2.TigerCrossCut is mounted to the slider using the same two holes that were used to secure the previous crosscut guide. Note: Some sliders have washers on each hole to space the existing crosscut guide. You can use these when installing TigerCrossCut.
Mounting to sliders WITHOUT eccentric peg squaring adjustment 3.If your slider does not use an eccentric peg shown in the picture to the left, it will simply have two holes to attach the fence. TigerCrossCut is mounted using these two holes. If your slider does have an eccentric peg, skip to the next section.
4. With TigerCrossCut still lying on the slider, insert one T-bolt from the TCC nut pack (fig. 1) into the Top channel of the fence beam at each end. Line up each T-bolt with the existing holes on the slider. 5. Thread an alignment cone from the TCC nut pack (fig. 2) on to each T-bolt and hand tighten. 5
Note: TigerStop provides two alignment cone sizes in the TCC nut pack: 15mm and 20mm diameter. Select the size that best fits the holes in the slider. For unique hole sizes, modifications may be necessary.
