From the outset our industrial ability, based on research and innovation, confirmed then, as it still does today, our solid foundations. Over the years, some of Bitron Video’s technological innovations have left a mark on the video doorphone industry: - the first compact, wall-mounted monitor in 1972 - no-coax systems, miniature videocamera units and the first flat cathode tube monitor in 1987; - creation of the Domular range of modular panels combining both the audio and the video units in a single module in 1991; - presentation of digital bus technology in 1999; - new design styles and introduction of the Drin kit range in 2001; - launch of the new range of advanced technology Domular 3000 button panels, in 2003; - introduction of the new two non-polarised wire B-fast video system, in 2006; - launch in 2007 of the new Tline line designed by the architect Francesco Trabucco.

Tline is a new range of doorphones, video doorphones (with receiver and hands-free option) and accessories created by Francesco Trabucco, one of the most acclaimed designers and capable of combining beauty and technology. Tline is characterised by its slim style in which the monitor is very appealingly integrated in the unit as a whole. I-bus is Bitron Video’s home automation system. Simple to use, the video doorphone monitor becomes the smart integrated control centre for managing all the technological systems in the building, including the burglar and fire alarm systems. The attentive design of our new products complements Bitron Video’s already large range providing even more choice and ever more suitable to all installation solutions. Eurobus The Eurobus systems are the input point towards the doorphone and the video doorphone with simplified wiring. A fixed number of conductors are used regardless of the number of users connected. Also in this case, the video systems do not need a coax cable wire and the installation can be with a black and white or colour video doorphone system. The diagram shows the reduced need for conductors in Eurobus doorphone and video doorphone systems.
Single family I-bus application I-bus is the new Bitron Video integration system for the automation and management of devices dedicated to the building With a monitor that becomes the terminal: it not only manages all the viva voce video doorphone functions with embedded fitting (colour with 5.6” LCD), but also centralises the visualisation functions of a possible second camera for surveillance, a two-zone burglar alarm, a smoke detector and a gas detector (LPG and methane).

MDK Expanding the simplified wiring concept, the MDK system allows for the installation of doorphone and video doorphone systems with a high number of users, always with the same number of conductors. The versatility of the MDK system means that derivations towards the apartment require only 2 wires for the doorphone version and only 5 wires for the video version.

The number of conductors of analogue doorphone systems are proportional to those of the users connected. The two systems, 4+n and 1+n, are based respectively on 4 common wires or 1 common wire in the system and the same number of additional wires as users. The representation of the two systems allows for assessing a basic installation with one input and the relative number of conductors in the system.
Simplified WIRING systems B-fast
The video doorphone uses 4 common wires in the system and 1 wire for each user There is no need for a coax cable for the distribution of the video signal. The installation may be with black and white or colour video doorphones. The diagram shows the wiring method and the video signal distribution in a video doorphone system with one column and a floor distributor.
B-fast The B-fast systems have only two conductors on which all the functions of a complex single or multi input video doorphone installation, with the intercommunication function in the apartment and between apartments, are concentrated. Extra cameras for surveillance do not require extra conductors. The maximum simplicity of wiring clearly shows in this diagram that only 2 wires are needed in every part of the system.

Versatile by vocation, rugged by choice. Extra slim to fit into the most difficult spaces, the Domular 3000 Evolution modular panel has all the features for which Bitron Video is trusted. Firstly, size: being extra slim, the wall-mounted version extends only 38 millimetres from the wall whilst the embedded version extends only 21 millimetres. When embedded, the panel covers the wall generating a very solid looking unit. Secondly, materials: aluminium or super-mirrored finish stainless steel ensure great looks, tough structure and a modern style. The panels are highly waterproof. The speakers are made of Mylar and similarly weatherproof.

Top quality materials are used once again: aluminium and stainless steel versions are available for all modules. Domular 3000 Evolution is perfectly compatible with all audio and video doorphone systems and is ready to fit an access control proximity reader which can open doors simply by holding up a special key. 3

The second part of the catalogue contains all Bitron Video products. A comprehensive introduction explains the main features and functions of each product. Extra photographs are provided for further clarity.
Basic products The basic product codes, common to all systems, are shown at the beginning of each product table.
Dedicated products The dedicated system products are clearly identified by the colour code of the corresponding system.
The same colour coding system is used in both tables and product descriptions: the basic product table (containing products suitable for use with any wiring system) is followed by tables on products for use in specific systems. Once again, the colour coding system is used throughout. This makes finding the product or accessory you are looking for even easier.

Analogue doorphone systems
Our systems: 4+n doorphone systems 4+n wire systems are basic doorphone installations. Single and multiple entrances, either main or secondary, may be installed as required. Bitron Video systems include modern technical solutions such as electronic calls, conversation privacy and intercom options. A wide range of accessories, including relay boxes, power units and wired and wireless ringers give you the freedom to customise. Design solutions include the compact, contemporary Domular 3000 Evolution units, wall-mounted without requiring masonry work for simple and quick installations. The recently revamped Domular Classic Evolution, with its smart, modern look, makes its ease of assembly a point of strength. Installation is completed indoors by the new Tline doorphone series.

1+n doorphone systems This is the choice when renovating older buildings and replacing an old bell with a modern doorphone. Installation is as flexible as all the other doorphone systems because considerably fewer wires are employed in the system.
Two Bitron Video panel models may be chosen for this type of system, both providing the same features as traditional doorphones: easy installation, great appearance and extremely practical use and maintenance.

Analogue video doorphone systems 5 wires no coax 5-wires no-coax systems are part of Bitron Video’s history. First in Italy to adopt no-coax solutions, Bitron Video is a leader in this technology offering high-performance in either black and white or colour systems, with or without intercom functions, which are easy to set up. The Domular 3000 Evolution panel which fits an audio unit, a CCD videocamera and two buttons in a single, compact module is the most modern solution. Excellent audio and video quality in combination with small dimensions are its main qualities. The Domular Classic Evolution panel instead implements modern systems of proven technology and reliability.

Simplified wiring systems
I-bus: integrated system for automation Bitron Video’s I-Bus integrates and simplifies managing all devices in the building. With a 5.6” LCD, in addition to video doorphone functions, the monitor also centralises second videocamera surveillance functions, two-zone burglar alarm system functions, a smoke alarm and a gas alarm (LPG and methane). I-Bus is ready for the homes of tomorrow: further developments will allow for: connection to a centralised condo system in which each flat will be served by a PC-based concierge switchboard providing an on-screen messaging service between flats and concierge desk and technical alarm warnings to the concierge switchboard, indicating alarm type and flat where the emergency is occurring

B-fast: two-wire non-polarised video system B-fast is the top expression of Bitron Video’s technology. B-fast may be used to install next-generation video systems using only two non-polarised wires throughout. Standard B-fast features include a colour videocamera fitted in the door panel, intercom functions, and the possibility of integrating a modern video surveillance system without needing to add any other wires.
Domular Classic Evolution specifically designed for Bfast combines high-tech perfection to systems with up to ten calling buttons in only two modules: this make B-fast the most compact system on the market.

Eurobus Bitron Video’s Eurobus systems are the first step towards simplified doorphone and video doorphone system wiring. Audio systems may be made using only two wires in the riser column, regardless of the number of users. This feature, in combination with the particularly competitive pricing, makes Eurobus a benchmark for the doorphone industry. Furthermore, the high flexibility of the system allows all video doorphone functions to be implemented while using a constant number of wires in the column. Bitron Video Eurobus systems fit standard calling buttons and new digital keypad models. The integration of this technology - combined with simple installation - makes Eurobus particularly interesting for cases in which there is little room available for the door panel.

MDK Large doorphone and video doorphone installations have never been a problem with MDK, Bitron Video’s microprocessor controlled system. With or without concierge switchboard, with one or more entrances to be managed, either black and white or colour: MDK has the solution for all installation types. Conveniently supplied with a pre-assembled calling module, it occupies very little space and can manage up to 400 flats.

Versatile by vocation, rugged by choice. Extra slim to fit into the most difficult spaces, the Domular 3000 Evolution modular panel has all the features for which Bitron Video is trusted. Firstly, size: being extra slim, the wall-mounted version extends only 38 millimetres from the wall whilst the embedded version extends only 21 millimetres. When embedded, the panel covers the wall generating a very solid looking unit. Secondly, materials: aluminium or super-mirrored finish stainless steel ensure great looks, tough structure and a modern style. The panels are highly waterproof. The speakers are made of Mylar and similarly weatherproof.

PANELS
Domular Classic Evolution has a modular structure for highly versatile use. The embedding boxes may be arranged side-by-side very easily by exploiting the pre-cut areas for introducing wires. Furthermore, the modules can be fixed to each box and connected safely and rapidly using the specially provided supports. Agile and ready to meet any need, the “Classic” is designed to work with all audio and video doorphone systems. It can be fixed to the wall in two ways: embedded or on the wall surface. In designing and revamping the Domular Classic Evolution panel, Bitron Video has not forgotten any of the details which are in actual fact crucial and only apparently less important. Like the buttons: large and splittable, they have plenty of room for displaying several names. And the videocamera in the video version: black and white or colour, its position can be adjusted to ensure the best view.
Standard devices can be integrated with one of the latest technological innovations in the sector: an access control proximity reader which by means of a special key opens doors and monitors all system accesses simply by connecting a computer. For a system also focused on security.

Bitron Video again presents design, entrusted to the architect Francesco Trabucco, in the new hands-free Tline video doorphone. Its slim line matches the shaded polycarbonate casing of the liquid crystal monitor and continues for the whole length of the video doorphone. Extremely thin (220x124x38 mm in the wall mounted version), the new Tlook hands-free video doorphone can also be used for embedded installation, thanks to a simple kit, , with a thickness of barely 16 mm. Ideal for all styles and all systems, hands-free Tlook adapts to all systems (5 wires, Eurobus, B-fast) thanks to a practical system of brackets for immediate installation.

Technology and simplicity
The clean lines of hands-free Tlook becomes a part of the decor, giving a touch of modernity and all the technology needed for the demands of the most sophisticated systems. The design of the new hands-free Tlook includes, as standard, a keypad not only with the classic audio call and door opening functions, but also with the more important additional functions. All buttons are located in the central unit, perfectly aligned with the monitor: the line remains uniform and the buttons are always easily accessible. Also as standard, on the keypad, all the main secondary commands: differentiated floor call, open-door warning, opening command for a second electric gate or to switch on the stair lights. The call volume can also be adjusted to one of 3 volume levels: high, low and mute, which inhibits the call. Tline live voice is equipped with full-duplex phonics, for choosing the function modes. In fact, you can speak hands-free from an external position, simply by pushing the audio button at the beginning and at the end of the conversation, or by holding the button for the duration of the call.

‘Proximan’ Access Control System convenient, practical, safe, easy to install As easy to do without the usual key The Bitron Video access control system is the complete solution to guarantee reliability and control in managing entrances. More security with Proximan, a system that recognises the key code, avoiding the risk of undesired copies, tampering and the intrusion of strangers. In addition, opening the door is done by a swift gesture, because all you have to do is to place the key near the proximity reader, and it is also extremely practical when you have your hands full, or at night when you want to enter the building quickly for reasons of safety. Installation is extremely simple: an ad hoc module has to be applied to the panel, with no unusual work to be carried out. Key programming is also straightforward and digital. Proximan may be used with Domular 3000 Evolution and Domular Classic Evolution panels housing access control modules capable of managing up to 5,000 keys. Proximan can even interface with other panels through the AV0151/007 reading head which may be combined with a signal amplifier and accommodated in any front panel.

Memory and control The Proximan security system control units can store all events (up to 30,000 events per month) relative to 2 to 4 entrances. For each event and every access, the key, the time and date and the activity are recorded. One of the features of Proximan is the “anti pass back” feature which prevents a person from accessing a room a second time if no previous exits were recorded. For example: a user rents a parking bay and enters the basement to park his car. His key will not let anyone re-enter the basement until it has been used to leave it.

To combine simple, rapid installation with Bitron Video’s reliable tradition. Bitron Video’s Eurobus system combines innovative bus technology and dependable standard components to offer unprecedented certainty, rapidity and labour-saving installation. Now available also in Domular 3000 Evolution and Domular Classic Evolution ranges, the Eurobus system offers the traditional, full functions in analogue, video doorphone and mixed systems. Bitron Video’s original and unique Eurobus technology is exploited to make modern systems with a small number of wires using standard analogue components. The technology is guaranteed by over 35 years of experience and reliability. I The MDK digital microprocessor audio and video doorphone systems are designed for systems with a high number of users requiring a very small number of common wires. Up to ten thousand users can be connected to the system with only six wires in column and two wires for connecting each doorphone. Alternatively, 10 wires can be used in the column with only 5 wires for connecting each monitor. This can be used for special systems with several digital entrances without switching devices and with ‘busy function’ for up to six main entrances and ten secondary entrances. Furthermore, mixed digital systems can be made, with a main digital entrance and secondary analogue traditional entrances. The particularities of MDK digital systems, such as the timed door opening code, messages and the ability to programme either remotely or via a PC, anticipate the Building Automation functions of the future and make Bitron Video’s microprocessor digital systems among the most advanced available on the market today.

For smaller values, a contribution of Euro 15.00 towards transport expenses shall be included on the invoice; no extra charge for partial deliveries due to the lack of availability of merchandise. • Urgent shipments: : a minimum charge of Euro 25.00 shall be included on the invoice for urgent shipments (24 hours). • Minim order amount: Euro 150.00 • Any complaints on supplies must be addressed in writing to Bitron Video within and no later than 8 (eight) days from delivery. • Prices: prices are exclusive of VAT: for Bitron Video S.r.l., the prices indicated on the current price list are NOT binding; Bitron Video reserves the right to modify prices without warning when necessary due to increases in labour costs, raw materials, or other reasons beyond its control. • Payments: payments must be made to Bitron Video S.r.l. by the due date and for the amount indicated on the invoice; complaints shall NOT exempt the customer from payment; in the case of payment after the agreed term indicated on the invoice, Bitron Video S.r.l. shall be authorised to charge the customer interest at the current bank rate and to suspend supplies. Bank charges and commissions sustained for delayed or non payment shall also be charged to the customer.

• Orders: all orderes received by our sales network are subject to the approval of Bitron Video S.r.l; orders may be partially or completely annulled in the case of circumstances beyond its control. Minimum value of orders: Euro 150.00. For smaller orders, the sum of Euro 35 shall be charged as a contribution to administrative and transport expenses, even in the case of collection by the customer.
• Returns: Returned merchandise shall NOT be accepted unless specifically authorised in advance by the Sales Management in Turin; returns accompanied by the relative authorisation code must be delivered to our warehouse CARRIAGE PAID, perfectly intact, in the original packaging and shall be accepted only after the quantity and quality has been verified. The value of returns of items on the price list shall be 30% less than the listed price according to the 2009 price list; for articles not on the price list the reduction shall be 90%. • Products: the technical and/or aesthetic features, measurements etc. given in all Bitron Video S.r.l. publications are merely indicative and subject to modification at any moment without advance notice, for purposes of technological improvement or for manufacturing needs. • Responsabilities: appliances supplied by Bitron Video S.r.l. must be used in compliance with the relative instructions for use and according to the current safety provisions; Bitron Video S.r.l. declines all responsibility for any accident and/or damages to persons or property caused by inappropriate or incorrect use of our appliances.

• Jurisdiction: any dispute, with renunciation by the counterpart to any exception, shall fall under the jurisdiction of the court of Turin.

Products sold by Bitron Video S.r.l. are guaranteed for twenty-four months, from • the product’s despatch date; • or from the date indicated on the “proof of purchase”: it must be kept together with the “gurantee conditions” supplied with the product; these documents must be supplied whenever the guarantee is implemented. • or from the date on which the system was “checked” by the appointed person (see the specific point: “system check”). Pursuant to the guarantee on products produced or resold by Bitron Video S.r.l., the parts which, according to our unquestionable judgement, have original defects or flaws shall be replaced or repaired in order to restore the functioning features of the product. The repair/replacement of single applicances can be carried out ONLY at the S.A.T. head offices in Italy, authorised by Bitron Video S.r.l.: see detail in our catalogues, or at the website www.bitronvideo.it, or by emailing the address

The request for action under guarantee must be forwarded to the local S.A.T. indicating: the address of the system, the type of anomaly found, the installer who carried out the installation and the purchase date. For action at the site where the system is installed, the applicant will be requested to contribute to the expenses of the appointed technician (FIXED CALL FEE). Breakdowns, defects and/or inefficient functioning deriving from particular natural events or weather conditions, or from causes such as incorrect installation, voluntary or involuntary tampering, incorrect maintenance, negligence or incapacity of the final user are not covered by the Bitron Video S.r.l. guarantee. In the case of modifications and repairs carried out by persons without written authorisation from Bitron Video S.r.l., the guarantee shall be null and void. Materials replaced under guarantee shall remain the property of Bitron Video S.r.l. Bitron Video S.r.l. shall not answer for possible delays in the execution of work carried out under guarantee. The guarantee shall be suspended in the case of delayed or non payment, even only partial, of the supply. The guarantee does not grant the Customer any right to suspend or defer payments, which must be made in any case in the manner and terms established on the order. Bitron Video S.r.l. also reserves the right to annul the guarantee covering products sold if: • labels or notices indicating the Manufacturer’s trademark and the series or serial number have been erased or removed; • the product shows, or has undergone, modifications not expressly authorised by Bitron Video S.r.l.; • the product has been used in a manner incompatible with the instructions supplied or for purposes other than those for which it has been designed. The product maintained defective must be delivered to the Bitron Video S.r.l. S.A.T. address with all charges paid. Repairs carried out by Bitron Video S.r.l. on a defective product: The product shall be repaired or replaced providing application of the guarantee is deemed applicable pursuant to our examination; otherwise the customer shall be charged for the repair without the prior communication of an estimate unless specifically requested by the Customer. The costs of labour, dismantling, reinstallation and transport then return of the repaired or replaced product shall be charged to the Customer even in the case of the recognised applicability of the guarantee. Check of the video/audio doorphone system: For AUDIO/VIDEO DOORPHONE systems (EXCEPT AUDIO/VIDEO DOORPHONE KITS WITH Tline BUTTON PANEL) a FREE INSPECTION of the installed system is foreseen: request for the inspection must be addressed to the local S.A.T. on completion of installation. The inspection is completely FREE OF CHARGE providing the system has been correclty installed completely by a professional installer, according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
