Carry out the handling according to the following manufacturer’s instructions. Always respect warnings from the relevant manuals of the machine. Make sure all electric power or other energy sources are disconnected and closed before any servicing. Always turn off the main switch. Wait 10 minutes after electrical power is disconnected to eliminate power on the inverter terminals. Installation, maintenance and service must be executed by skilled service personnel only or by a service organisation with appropriate authorization from the manufacturer. For service, use only original replacement parts. Re-install all machine parts in the original way. The qualified agency performing this work assumes all responsibility for this kit installation. Other service activities than described below, disable all manufacturers’ responsibility. Make sure children are not around during work in progress.

Retightening of ironer’s main pulleys bolts Valid for: I35, I50, IR50, IF50, IFF50 with production codes (the last two characters of the serial number): • • •
PJ (May 2009) PL (June 2009) and the following machines with production code PN (July 2009): 520I000657PN 525I000660PN 525I000662PN
The bolts (pos. 2) fixing the carrying pulleys (pos. 1) – see the picture below - may not be tightened enough on some ironers made between 2.5.2009 and 10.7.2009. Therefore we recommend tightening them additionally to prevent possible failure. There is a risk that one of the pulleys, being insufficiently fixed by the bolts, may move aside (see the red arrow) and the ironing cylinder falls off the pulley. The parts themselves will not be damaged by that, but the ironer will be out of operation.
Solution: There are 4 pulleys (1) on each ironer and each pulley is secured by 2 bolts (2). Retightening steps: 1. Unscrew one bolt (pos.2) 2. Degrease the internal thread M8 in the pulley (pos.1) – apply 2x Loctite 7063 (let it dry by air after each application); if Loctite 7063 is not available, use petrol or another degreasing agent 3. Apply securing glue on the bolt (2) thread (e.g. blue Loctite 243 or Weicon AN 302-43) Page 3 of 4

4. Tighten bolt (2) by tightening torque 15 Nm or by 10 Nm + tightening by angle 20° more ; if torque wrench is not available, tighten the bolt by a common hexagonal wrench by maximal manual force nd 5. Repeat steps 1÷4 for the 2 bolt of the pulley 6. Repeat steps 1÷6 for the remaining 3 pulleys Note: pay attention to retighten the bolts one by one (do not release 2 bolts at the same time).
