Probe Module Detects part co-ordinates or dimensions, before and after machining cycles. The probe is mounted on a transmitter that transmits the measuring data to the CNC using an infrared signal and via a receiver and an interface. The trasmitter is available in two versions with 50° and 110° transmission angle. Receiver Module Receives the signals issued by the transmitter and sends them to the CNC interface unit. Interface Module Processes the data received by the receiver and sends it to the machine tool CNC, where it is saved in variable macros. All elements of the E83 system are designed to withstand the most difficult shop floor conditions and their modularity allows selection of the most suitable configuration for each application. Compact E83C for installation inside the electrical cabinet on a DIN - TS35 rail. A tool checking probe can be connected to the same interface module using an E32R cable. Connection of the I/Os and the optical receivers with removable clamps reduces connection times. 2. E83T for lathes and turning centers, is equally compact in size but with the possibility of programming individual activation of up to (4) different probes installed on the same machine. 3. Interface integrated in the receiver (E83RXI), for decoding the optical signal issued by the transmitter and sending it directly to the CNC without using a separate interface unit.
