H OW TO K E E P L U N A H A P P Y 12 Cover legs of furniture with cling film or aluminium foil. This will stop them staining a wet carpet. If the carpet is very dirty, open the slider cover on the handle grip when washing. Remember to close it when sucking up surplus washing solution. Don’t use too much water when cleaning. If you use lots, it takes a long time to suck up and a long time to dry out. The first thing to check if Luna doesn’t work is the power cable. Is Luna plugged in and switched on? Is the fuse OK? Plug in another appliance to check. If Luna goes off while washing, an excessive amount of foam inside may have caused it. Check that you have used VAX cleaner or an approved non-foaming cleaner. Remove furniture, whenever possible, before washing. Start washing from the furthest point in the room from the door. Move backwards towards the door. Luna will stop working when it is full of dirty water. Turn off and empty before continuing with your washing. Whenever possible, use VAX cleaning solutions, they are made specially for Luna. When you push in the hose make sure it fixes securely, by twisting as you push. I M P O RTA N T S A F E T Y I N F O R M AT I O N 13 This ‘Easy guide’ should be read completely before using your LUNA. This ‘Easy guide’ should be retained with your VAX for future reference. The following information is provided in the interest of safety. Please read it before using your VAX.
