Major mobile phone manufacturers use altec CopyStations to program memory media supplied with the phone with music, videos, accessory catalogs and other information.
Navigation systems
Maps for modern navigation systems are often supplied on Flash Memory.
Mobile gaming consoles
Films for the Sony PSP (Playstation Portable) are no longer supplied on UMD (Universal Media Disc). Films and applications such as town guides or translation programs are supplied instead on Memory Stick PRO Duo memory media.
Music, audio books and videos for MP3 players and PCs
Music albums are increasingly supplied on flash memory such as Gruvi Cards from SanDisk. They can be used in Sansa MP3 players and PCs.

Choosing the right CopyStation from our product range should start with determining the type of memory media you want to copy. Please refer to page 7 of this brochure and to our website for a compatibility matrix which can help with your choice.
Calculate your throughput and costs
On request we provide you with an Excel table where you can enter parameters such as memory media capacity, cost of your employees, days and hours worked. This allows you to calculate the throughput of programmed memory media and the estimated cost per card or USB memory stick for various CopyStations models. This way you can be sure to find the best CopyStation for your needs.

Software interface e.g. for external serialization
Optional software interface for exchanging data with external applications. This allows custom modification of the contents of each memory media, e.g. individual serial numbers or encryption.
Reduced size image files
Software option to create and copy reduced size image files. This speeds up the copying process if the amount of data you want to copy is smaller than the capacity of the memory media.
File Copy
Optional software feature to copy files from a specified directory to the memory media, which must be supported by Windows, instead of copying from an image file.
Parallel verification
Parallel verification of the copied data is available as an option for the High-Speed CopyStation. It reduces the verification time considerably.
Write and read protection
Software option for temporary or permanent write and/or read protection of SD Cards.
TrustedFlash and U3 technology
We are prepared to support encryption technology such as TrustedFlash and the U3 mobile computing platform with our CopyStations.

No other manufacturer than altec supplies such a wide range of copying systems for duplicating the contents of mobile memory media. From the automated Robo CopyStations and the modular High-Speed CopyStations with exchangeable CardBoxes to the flexible FlashCard CopyStation III, all for a wide range of mobile memory cards. When it comes to copying USB memory sticks, we have an entry level solution and the ultra fast USB Stick CopyStation 21 Ultra. The latter is about 50% faster than all other products on the market we tested.
