1,Introduction 1.1 Intention This Manual based on Easy7 video monitoring system CS client code to provide briefly explanation, helping the users to learn the operation process.

3,Software Overview 3.1 Software Use This software can be used as a subsystem of Easy7 monitoring platform, also can be installed and used independently. 1,When using as a subsystem of Easy7 monitoring system, it enables operations in CS client end: Audio/Video Overview and Switch, Device Control, Manual Recording, Snapshot, Viewing Alarm Information, Checking logs and Records Playback after CMS setting. 2,When using independently, it enables User authorization setting, Device Management, Devices Remote Setting, Decoding Management, Switching Management, Record Module Setting, Alarm Activation Setting, also can be used as a Recording Host for Timing Recording.
3.2 Software Running This software is divided into three versions. 1,Easy7 Client Express V2.0T(Build1008).EXE. Independent installation operation, support whole series of Tiandy DVR and network video devices, with maximum ability of connection with 64 devices or 128 channels. 2,Easy7

4,Software Installation and Uninstallation 4.1 Software Installation Take example of “Easy7 Client Express V2.0T(Build1008).EXE” installation in Microsoft Windows XP system. The operation is the same for the other two versions. 1,Find setup file in the disk of :”Easy7 Client Express V2.0T(Build1008).EXE”
2,Double Click to enter setup process.
3,Select language, click “Next”.
Default setup folder is in Disk C, it is available for customized setup folder, click “Next” to the end.
4,Click “Finish”, the system will install Visual C++ 2008 module automatically, it is a necessary component. Click “Next -> Install -> Finish” according to the instruction to the end of the process.
4.2 Software Uninstallation 1,Select Open Menu in Windows system, “Open Menu”-> “All Program” -> “Tiandy” -> “Easy7 Client Express V2.0T(Build1008)”-> “Uninstallation”
2,Click “Yes”, the uninstallation program will terminate the running software of all related Easy7 programs to continue the uninstallation process.
3,Click “Next”-> “Finish” according to the instruction to finish the uninstallation.
4,It will also uninstall the Visual C++ 2008 module in the uninstallation process, select “Uninstall” and click “Next -> Finish” according to the instruction to finish the uninstallation.
5,System Settings Instruction 5.1 Authority Management 5.1.1 User Management Click 【user management】 to user management interface, and it displays all users’ basic information added in the current system, as shown in Figure 5-1

5.1.1.1 Add User Click 【Add】 into the add user interface, as shown in Figure 5-2
Figure 5-2 【User Name】: Input any users name here. (Below illegal characters are not allowed: -~!#$%^()=[]{},":;'<>?*`+/\) 【Effective Time】Users can set effective time for the newly added users. 【Password】: Password for the user. 【Confirm Password】Input the same password as “password”. 【Memo】: Memo information for the user. 【Role to User】: roles for current user. 【All Roles】All roles for current system.
5.1.1.2 Modify User Select a user, and click 【Modify】to the interface, as shown in Figure 5-3
Figure 5-3 Administrators can modify the user name, password, and authority, and the specific settings are the same as adding users.
5.1.1.3 Delete User Select one or more users, and click 【Delete】 to delete the selected user.
5.1.2 Role Management Click 【role management】 to role management interface and it displays the current all the basic users’ information that have been added, as shown in Figure 5-4.

5.1.2.1 Add Role Click 【Add】to the role edit interface and add necessary information in 【role name】 and 【Description】. Click 【Confirm】 to add the role to complete. In the role list, select the newly added role, and on the right side, the authority tree occurs. Tick the appropriate authority, and click 【set】to complete the setting.
5.1.2.2 Modify Role Select any character, and click 【Modify】, dialog box will pops up and it is basically the same as adding role.
5.1.2.3 Delete Role Select any one or more roles, and click 【Delete】, you can delete the selected role.
5.1.2.4 Role Authority Setting Tick the box in front of the authority and click【set】to set authority for current
selected roles, as shown in Figure 5-5.

5.2 Device Management 5.2.1 Host Management Click 【Host Management】 into the host management interface, and it displays all the hosts and its channels, alarm ports that have been added, as shown in Figure 5-6

5.2.1.1 Add Host There are 2 ways to add host, individual adding and intelligent adding, shown below as figure 5-7, 5-8:

Figure 5-9 Host Information: 【Host Name】Add host name.(Host name are not allowed to input below illegal characters-~!#$%^()=[]{},":;'<>?*`+/\) 【Serial No.】Add the host's serial number 【Host ID】When select 【Automatic ID】, the system will automatically generate a random system-wide unique ID; when the【auto-ID】 is not selected, you can enter your own defined ID to add (This ID shall not duplicate with the existing ID, otherwise it will fail). 【Host IP】Add host IP. 【IP Segment】When 【IP segment】 is ticked, user can batch add host IP. For example: Add 【Host IP】 as 1.1.1.1, and the IP segment as 1.1.1.20 and hosts from 1.1.1.1 to 1.1.1.20 of the 20 will be added. 【Host Port】Add the host communication port. 【Video Channel】Add the total number of video channels for the host. .
【Alarm Input Number】Add the total number of video channels for the alarm input ports. 【Alarm Output Number】Add the total number of video channels for the alarm output ports. 【Host Type】Choose the type of host: TD Series (Tiandy Series), DH Series (Dahua series), DS series (Hikvision series) and PC-type DVR 【User Name】Add the host username. 【Password】Add the host password. Proxy Information: 【Proxy Type】Select 【Empty】, 【Common Proxy】 or 【Middleware Proxy】 【No】——Proxy no required. 【Common Proxy】——If it is only through the first level proxy, used only need to input IP and port number for the first level proxy. If it is through the second proxy port, user needs to input IP address and port number for both the first level and the second level proxy.

Domain Information: 【DNS type】: Four types here: 【Forbidden】,【Standard】,【Special】, 【Initiative】 【Forbidden】Do not use domain analysis or active mode. 【Special】: Taindy network. 【Standard】:Standard domain name analysis. 5.2.1.2 Host Information Modify In host management, the system provides 2 ways to modify host information,
which are single modify or batch modify, shown as Figure 5-16, 5-17

Figure 5-17 Single Tick: When ticking a sing one, and clicking【Modify】, user will enter the modify interface for a single host, shown as figure 5-18
Figure 5-18 System will automatically add basic information of select host, after add new information, click 【enter】to complete revision. This operation is basically same as add host. Note: when revise host, host ID is not available to revise. If selected host ID is automatically generated, then if an agent is set, the revision will not affect. Mass revision: when select multiple hosts, click【mass revision】to enter host information interface, figure 5-19
Figure 5-19 At this time system will take the first select host information as default to add into coordinate blank, for user to revise. 【host port】Add coordinate host port. 【connect type】Two protocols available, TCP and UDP.
【agent type】No agent, normal agent, mid agent available. 【normal agent】: If through first class agent only, then just fill in 【first class agent IP】and 【first class agent port】 . If a second class agent is needed, then【first class agent IP】 【first class agent port】 【second class agent IP】and 【second class agent port】are all needed to be filled. 【mid agent】: Fill in 【customer end MS IP】,【customer end MS port】,【customer end MS ID】, 【customer end MS name】,【service end MS IP】,【service end MS port】,【service end MS ID】and【service end MS name】. 【protocol type】6 protocols are available: PTZ_PELCO_P,PTZ_PELCO_D,PTZ_TC615_P,DOME_PELCO_P,DOME_PELCO_D, DOME_TIANDY. In order to control front end equipment like PTZ, protocol must be same.
5.2.1.3 Host delete When select one or more host, click【Delete】, system will remove the selected hosts. As shown on Figure5-20 when toggle one or more host, click 【Delete】, then the selected hosts will be deleted.

5.2.1.4 Host search Host search: when click 【host search】, to enter host search interface. Figure 5-21
Figure 5-21 System provides two types of search, by host name and by video passage. 【search by host name】: could fill in host name, host IP or only one of them, click 【enter】,system will search qualified equipment, and system support cloud search. If information filled by user is uncompleted, system will list all host qualified, and notice user that the host list is a search result, search condition on the right is being toggled. Cancel toggling; system will display all the information of the hosts. Figure 5-21. 【search by video passage】: could fill in passage name, click 【enter】,system will search qualified equipment, and system support cloud search. 5.2.1.5 Select convert Click 【select convert】, to convert the selected host.
5.2.1.6 Page up/down When the quantity is large, all the host will be displayed by pages, 13 items per page.
5.2.2 Video passage When select a host, video passage list will display all the passage information of the selected host. Figure 5-23

5.2.2.1 Add passage Click 【add】down the video passage list, to enter video passage interface. Figure 5-24

System will automatically fill in all the information of the host into coordinate blank. 【passage name】——Fill in the name of new added passage of the host. 【passage number】 ——Add new passage number of the host, could not be same as passage number exited. 【host name】——Automatic add selected host name, revision unavailable. 【host IP】——Automatic add selected host IP, revision unavailable. 【connect type】——Two types available, TCP and UDP. 【code stream type】——Two types available, main code stream and secondary code stream. 【protocol】——6 types available, PTZ_PELCO_P,PTZ_PELCO_D, PTZ_TC615_P,DOME_PELCO_P,DOME_PELCO_D,DOME_TIANDY.In order to control front end equipment like PTZ, protocol must be same. 【PTZ address】——pick up any number among 1-255, in order to control front end equipment like PTZ, address must be same as PTZ address. 【series interface number】——3 types available, 232,485-1,485-2. In order to control front end equipment like PTZ, series interface number must be same as PTZ address. 【control type】——2 types available, protocol and transistor passage. System supports both type, could be customized. 【cache size】——Could be set by user 【time delay】——User set. 【control speed】——User set, 1-7, lowest to fastest. 【passage description】——Could be filled by user.
5.2.2.2 Passage revision select a passage in the list, click 【revise】to enter passage revision interface, figure 5-25
Figure 5-25 System will automatically fill the basic information of selected passage in coordinate blank. Passage information revision method is same as passage addition.
5.2.2.3 Passage delete Select one or more passages, click 【delete】, selected passages will be deleted.
5.2.2.4 Select invert Click 【select invert】to invert the selection of passages
5.2.3 Alarm port When select a host in host list, alarm port list will show all information of alarm port of selected host. Figure 5-26

5.2.3.1 Addition of alarm port After select the host which you want to add alarm port, click 【add】to enter alarm
interface, figure 5-27
Figure 5-27 At this time, the basic information of the alarm port is filled in coordinate blank automatically. 【alarm port type】——Two types available, alarm input port and alarm output port. 【alarm port name】——Could be filled by user. 【alarm port number】———User could fill the the alarm port number freely, but the number could not same as existed port number. 【host name】————Filled automatically, revision not available. 【host IP】—————Filled automatically, revision not available. 【alarm port description】——Could be filled by user.
5.2.3.2 Alarm port revision After select alarm port in alarm port type list, click 【revision】, to enter alarm port revision interface, figure 5-28

.Alarm port information will be filled in box automatically by system to users revise. System just supports revising the alarm port name, alarm port no and alarm port. After revising, click the 【OK】to finish.
5.2.3.3 Delete Alarm Port Select one alarm port or more, and then click 【delete】 to delete.
5.2.3.4 Inverse Click 【Inverse】 to inverse alarm port in the list.
5.2.4 Group Management Click 【Group Management】, then whole device information and user-defined information will be show up. As Figure 5-29.

4, Or use mouse to drag all channel of 30.30.30.121to user-defined group on the right list. As Figure 5-30

mouse will customize the points need to delete a group of dragging out right list. Remark: The client-side host list is loading the user-defined group information, so users must add device to user-defined group. Then users could find host channel in client-side of Easy7.
5.2.5 Remote Control Click【Remote Control】to enter, all device in the system and log status will be show up. Select login device and click “Remote Control” button to control.(Details in Chapter 7, Remote Control) Remark: Remote control just supports login device and Tiandy device.
5.3 Video Setup Users can setup video strategy as the situation.
5.3.1 Video Template Setup Click 【Video Template】to enter, added templates information are on the left list, as Figure 5-31

5.3.1.1 Add Template 【Template Name】——User can write template name, new name must be different
from
old
ones.(Template
name
can’t

-~!#$%^()=[]{},":;'<>?*`+/\) 【Starting Time】——User input starting time of this template. 【Ending Time】——User input ending time of this template. After that, click 【add】, then new added template is in the available template list.
5.3.1.2 Template Revise Select template on available template list, then original information will be show in related position. At this time user could edit template information and click 【Revise】 to finish.
5.3.1.3 Template Delete Select one template and click 【Delete】. Whether really delete selected template messages will be show up and click 【Yes】 to delete.
5.3.1.4 Template Application 【Video Type】Five alarm type, regular video, mobile alarm video, port alarm video, lost alarm video and other alarm video. User selects a video and click a template on the list, meanwhile all channel information and template will be displayed one to one. According to actual needs, users can check template before related channel. Click 【Save setup】to finish. 【Check all】Select all channels. 【Inverse】Inverse function.
5.3.2 Video Time-table Setup 5-32 Click 【Video Time-table】to enter setup interface. All templates are in the left list, selected template is in the right list. As Figure 5-32

to delete. Select one template in 【Apply to every day】 to apply template to every day. If you select used template, it will be delete in template of apply to every day
5.3.3 Video Strategy Setup Click 【Video Strategy】, disk information will be show up in left list. Right side is area of strategy setup. As Figure 5-33.

continuous recording time in 【continuous recording time】(from 5-120 min). Select percentage or (G)in 【Mini disk space】and write related parameter. Select video format in 【Save file format】. Delete previous video or stop recording in 【Disk Full】. After these steps, click 【Save Setup】to finish.
5.4 Decoder Setup 5.4.1 Decoder Input Decoder input as Figure 5-34.

5.5 Switch setups Click【Switch setups】to enter setup menu,see to Figure 5-41
Figure 5-41 The main function is to switch the setting to switch the user to set their own way for so Easy7 video browsing, the client can automatically switch video channels, user-friendly browsing. 【 Number 】 ——Corresponding Easy7 client interface, video browsing video browser window number, for example: Monitor No. 1 represents Easy7 client video browsing interface for video browsing window 1, and so on. After adding the new policy name, right-click the policy name, right-click menu appears【add time periods】,see to Figure 5-42

monitor switching time, the system defaults to 30 seconds, switch the time frame set by the user is (30-7200) s
5.6Alarm Linkage Click【Alarm Linkage】to enter the Alarm Linkage setup menu,see to Figure 5-45
