Power Button
Running The VCR is operated from the front controls on the VCR deck. The DVD player is operated from the computer controls. Switching To switch to another device, choose the appropriate button on the Smart Panel control unit and proceed by following Step 5 above. Shutdown (in this order, please) 1. SP Control – PROJ OFF 2. Remove all DVD’s, VHS tapes, etc. 3. .Computer – SHUT DOWN 4. Fold down the visualizer and close the drawer on the left of the lectern Turn off lectern power. (See Step 2) 5. Bay lights - OFF KeySpan Presenter’s Remote The Tripplite KeySpan presenter’s remote has a range of about 35 feet and functions for starting and stopping a PowerPoint presentation, forward and back, joystick, laser pointer, scroller and a standard set of mouse buttons. These are also marked with the room so the pairing of the mouse and receiver are kept together. The FWD/BACK buttons do not require setting in PowerPoint to work.

To turn the presenter on, slide the ON/OFF button upward. Please return it to OFF after use and return to the lectern. Scroll
Presenters are encouraged to obtain their own Bluetooth presenter’s remotes as all carts and lecterns are equipped with extra USB ports. When first using, the computer will install software for them – this may take a few minutes. F5 – Start Powerpoint

Guest Laptop Setup The guest ports for laptops and audio/video devices are located on the lectern on the right side. Connect the VGA and audio cables to your laptop and start it. Guest Computer Port and cable

Guest Video Port w/S-Video
Guest audio/video Guest devices for audio and video may be connected with the proper cables to the Guest Video Port. To display, select DOCUMENT CAMERA on the SP control panel and do not turn on the document camera in the drawer. Visualizer Setup Visualizer or digital document camera must be coordinated with Instructional Technology prior to need. Move the document camera cart in from the storeroom and connect the AV cable to the AV guest port on the lectern. Switch the SP control panel to the Aux Video device to project. All of the visualizers shown below may be connected to lecterns, media carts, or older TV carts. Example for Sony visualizer: 1. Raise camera boom 2. Raise two side light bars 3. Turn camera on 4. Press blue light button o Opaque materials o Overhead transparencies or 35mm slides (zoomed)
