DIGITAL REAR-VIEW
Electronic rear-view mirror system Electronic video rear-view mirror system from I+ME ACTIA This new solution from I+ME ACTIA replaces conventional external mirrors with external cameras mounted on the side of railway carriages, trams, subway and commuter trains. In addition to the standard rear-view function, a special video matrix has been developed for this application to enable surveillance of the vehicles’ doorways.
To provide the driver with a good view - particularly on a long train - of all doorways and automatic traction, the front and rear cameras are used. When the video rear-view system is used on a train with a maximum of four cars or indeed on a push-pulltrain, each cars’ video rearview system is automatically connected to a complete system which acts as if on a single vehicle.
Your benefits Significally lower profile than conventional mirrors µ
Optimized 3:4 display µ
Reduced risk of damage µ
Optional camera imaging µ
Better overview by using multiple cameras µ
High security level: Designed to SIL requirements µ

A heavy-duty aluminium base plate, ultramid plastic housing and borofloat glass front allows applications in high speed trains. The camera can be painted in all RAL colours according to customer requirements. The heater can either be started with automatic thermostat and manual. The camera module is perfectly designed to suit the requirements of an electronic mirror system.
10,4" TFT train monitor The 10,4" train monitor has been developed for use in rail traffic and meets the requirements of train certifications. It can be mounted vertically or horizontally with standard VESA-mounting points. Video inputs: either coaxial with BNC or twisted pair with M12.

This allows the automatic rear-view mirror function while driving as surviellance door areas at the station with cameras and monitors. It can be used for bi-directional vehicles in traction of up to 4 cars. A video rear-view mirror system consists per vehicle of a video matrix and up to 4 rear-view monitors.
