Almost each application can connect easily through the i-modul ISDN to the digital ISDN network. Because of the serial interface with TTL levels every controller with UART interface can be connected to the ISDN adapter. The i-modul ISDN enhances the plain data communication by alarming and security functions: alarms with a user defined text – e.g. as an SMS – are triggered by digital inputs. Remote control is protected by password. Selective call answer allows only data calls from specified numbers.
Applications
The digital outputs can be controlled remotely. They can be configured to display the connection status as well.
