Overview The single-port Dual Temperature/Humidity Sensors measure both temperature and humidity in a single sensor. This extends the hub’s capability to measure up to eight temperature and eight humidity sensing parameters by connecting eight dual sensors. Plug up to two dual sensors into the RJ-45 jacks on the EME102A and up to eight sensors on the EME108A. Connect up to eight dual sensors on the EME134A and eight more on each expansion module (EME1X8). Specially designed CAT5 cable ensures a correct reading up to 100 feet (30.4 m). Models are available with 1-, 5-, or 15-foot (0.3-, 1.5-, or 4.5-m) cable, so you can position them in hot spots. NOTE: The 5-foot version (EME1TH2-005) can be extended up to 1000 feet (304.8 m). The 15-foot cable version (EME1TH3-015) is waterproof. When you plug the dual sensor into an RJ-45 port, the hub will autodetect the sensor, and it will display temperature and humidity for each RJ-45 port. A built-in graph option is included on the hubs for graphing temperature and humidity variations over a period of time. Each temperature/humidity sensor has its own SNMP OID so you can collect and graph the data at 0.3° F (0.2° C) resolution over the network using an external application such as MRTG.
