Not compatible with brome, chorine free disinfectants such as PHMB (or ‘biguanides’), or with other products containing copper, and certain stain-removing products. Can be used with all types of structures, surfacing, and filtration systems, as well as with salt or active oxygen chlorinators.

2. Installation 2.1 Preparing the pool 2.1.1 Cleaning Before you install your Nature2 Express purifier, remove any debris and algae from the water and clean the filter (backwash).
2.1.2 Water balance All pools, even equipped with Nature2 Express, require adequate water balance. Do not install your Nature2 Express purifier until the water is properly balanced (see table hereunder). Normal values pH between 7.2 and 7.6

Cause
Consequence
TH too low
•
TH too high
Scale on the pool walls and bottom and inside the various pieces of equipment
add a scale sequestering agent
TA too low
No buffer effect, resulting in variations in pH, which can damage the surface of your pool’s finishing material and filtration equipment
Use TA + (Alkalinity corrector)
Total alkalinity 8° to 15° f (80 to 150 ppm)
•
• TA too high •
•
Stabiliser (cyanuric acid) 20 to 75 ppm
Water less stable corrosive water
Solution add TH +
white deposits on the surfacing wall become rough or faded water cloudy or milky
add acid to lower the alkalinity
Gradual accumulation The effect of chlorine is inhibited, Renew part of in the water even though the value displayed the pool water of stabiliser by the reading kits may be correct with new water in the tablets

Nature² Express must always be installed after the pump and filter, before or after any heating system, and always before any water treatment system, such as an automatic chlorine dispenser. It must be fitted onto a rigid PVC pipe at least 15 cm long with a Ø50 section.
H0434800.A - EN - 2013-08
2.2.2 Installation •
•
Stop the pump and close all the valves.
•
•
• •
•
• • • •
If your filtration system is below the water level, you must either shut the return valve or use the wintering caps fitted on the skimmers and return line to avoid excessive water loss. Fit the tightening collar on to the PVC pipe. Make sure the arrow is pointing in the direction of the water flow. Tighten the four screws and nuts supplied. It is normal that a space of a few millimetres remains between the two halves of the collar. Fit the cutting tool onto your drill. Using the hole located on the top half of the collar as a guide, and drill a hole in the pipe. Clip the flow sensor into its housing. Fit the body of the purifier onto the collar assembly and simply press into place without screwing. Spread the silicone grease around the O-ring seal at the base of the cartridge (above the screw thread). Screw the Express cartridge into the body of the purifier. Set the date indicator to the month of installation. Re-open all the valves you had previously closed. Start up the pump, making sure there are no leaks. The movement of the small balls at the top of the cartridge indicated that part of the water flow is correctly passing through the Nature2 Express cartridge.
3. Using the Nature2 Express 3.1 First use
• • •
Important: run a shock chlorination treatment after installing the cartridge (quantities indicated on package, average 150 to 200 g of chlorine per 10m³). To activate the Nature² Express cartridge, operate the pump and the filtration system round the clock for 3 or 4 days, or 6 hours a day for 14 days. Maintain an average level of free chlorine of 1 to 2 ppm during the same 4-day or 14-day period as above. Following the activation period, let the chlorine level fall back to 0.5 ppm.

3.2 Regular treatment •
Regular treatment: 1 tablet (250g) of slow-acting stabilised chlorine* per 60 m3 for 7 to 10 days (or equivalent in pellets, granules, etc.). • No need for preventive shock chlorination, flocculation or anti-algae treatment; only carry out a shock chlorination if the water is cloudy. * trichloroisocyanurate: average doses in normal weather conditions.
4. Maintenance 4.1 Winter storage •
As part of your winter storage preparations, if you are closing the pool, remove the Express cartridge and dispose of it in the normal way (contains no toxic substances). Clip the wintering cap into place on the purifier body to prevent the accumulation of debris. Install a new Nature² Express cartridge before you start using your pool again. • •
5. Troubleshooting Problem
Scale deposits
Cloudy water
Faulty Filtration

Symptom
Solution
Low flow in the Filter
• •
Clean the filter (backwash). If necessary replace the filtering medium (sand or other Run the filtration for 24 hours Increase the daily filtration time •
Algae Forming Incorrect Water Balance
Scale deposits on surfacing
Water is cloudy with a green • • • •
•
Apply a shock chlorination treatment and brush the sides of the pool
Water is too hard Alkalinity too high pH too high Total dissolved solids TDS too high
•
Achieve the correct water balance
pH or alkalinity too high
Adjust pH or alkalinity to the recommended levels
Total dissolved solids TDS too high
• •
Replace some of the water with fresh water use an anti-scale products if water if too hard
