ELDTRAFFIC EO-YMeKaszh OV 2.0 is a halogen-free power cable for public lighting. The conductors are either bare, solid, electrolytic copper conforming to IEC 60228 class 1, or bare, stranded electrolytic copper conforming to IEC 60228 class 2, depending on their cross sectional area size. ELDTRAFFIC EO-YMeKaszh OV 2.0 cables have a braid of galvanized steel wires with an underlying protective earth of tinned copper that provides mechanical protection and excellent flexibility, which is beneficial during installation. ELDTRAFFIC EO-YMeKaszh OV 2.0 is waterproof and chemical resistant. This makes the cable suitable for almost any soil type. Eldra has further improved the stripability of the cable and as a result, substantially less force is required to remove the outer jacket and the cable can therefore be installed more quickly.
Extra information Available as standard with grey outer jacket with four green stripes. This makes it easily recognizable in the installation. PE Conductor With conductor cross sections of up to 16 mm² the cross sectional area of the protective earth matches that of the conductors. With a conductor cross section of 25 mm² the cross section of the protective earth is 16 mm².
