TDS EPISOL PU TOPCOAT WB Wear resistant polyurethane top coat USAGE PROCESSING Water based polyurethane top coat for epoxy and polyurethane synthetic resin floors. High scratch and fade resistance. • Preparing the application surface Make sure the surface is clean. The recommended processing temperature for the surface, the surroundings and the material is 15 to 25°C. Do not use below 10°C and it should be at least 3°C higher than the dew point temperature. CHEMICAL RESISTANCE Maximum relative humidity is 80%. Good chemical resistance to alkalis, petroleum derivatives, acid, diluted organic acids, salts and solutions. Low resistance against tannines, anti-oxidants and plasticizers. Stains made by these products will become darker by UV. For more information please contact RESIPLAST NV. PROPERTIES EPISOL PU TOPCOAT WB is applied to a cured system. Polyurethane and epoxy synthetic resin floors that are older than 2 days must be roughened. Resin floors of unknown composition can only be coated once an adhesion test has been carried out and the results of this test are positive. • Mixing Stir the base (component A) evenly before use. Add the full amount of hardener (component B) and mix mechanically (300 rev/min) until both components are homogeneous. • Water based • Very high UV resistance • High wear and scratch resistance • Low consumption • Smooth surface • Low dirt build-up • Application Apply EPISOL PU TOPCOAT WB with a lint-free roller using a paint bucket or paint roller tray. Spread crosswise using firm pressure. Finish off after 15 minutes with a broad paint roller working crosswise. The last paint strokes should always be in the same direction to avoid structural differences. Make sure there is adequate ventilation and low humidity during the curing process. Replace the paint rollers after 45 minutes. A second coat must be applied after 24 hours. • Use EPISOL PU TOPCOAT WB can be mechanically loaded after 72 hours. Make sure there is adequate ventilation. Complete chemical resistance after 7 days at 20°C, lower temperatures will extend the curing time.
