Purpose – The Mounted Search and Rescue Unit must be able to fully support search and rescue operations without jeopardizing the health and well being of their animals, themselves, and the Group and without relying on others. Each member shall be able to provide food, water, equipment and supplies for their animals and themselves for up to three days. 2. Equipment – Each member of the Mounted Search and Rescue Unit shall own, maintain in good working order, and have the following times at all search callouts and training exercises.
