Essence Telephony Gateway Series 4/8 ports VoIP Gateway with 1 WAN, 1 LAN Broadband Router The ETG Series is a Residential Gateway equipped with 4/8 standard phone ports, one 10/100 BaseTX Fast Ethernet WAN Port (Auto MDI/MDI-X), and one 10/100 BaseTX Fast Ethernet LAN Ports (Auto MDI/MDI-X). With the integration of both voice and data, the ETG Series offers ability to route data information into network solution. The ETG Series build in reach voice parameters, such as Quality of Service (QoS), voice compression, bandwidth control, echo cancellation, dynamic latency (jitter) buffers, silence suppression, and comfort noise generation. The ETG Series is compatible with xDSL and Cable-Modem Broadband service providers with built-in support for DHCP Client, MAC Address Cloning, PPPoE, and multiple auto-provisioning methods. For Internet connection sharing in your home the ETG Series offers support for up to 253 IP devices. Services offered to the internal home network are DHCP Server, Network Address Translation (NAT). Because the ETG Series shares your single ISP IP address, it masks the local users' IP addresses from the outside world, preventing intruders and hackers from gaining access to network resources, data files or personal information.
