Package Contents 2. While installing DP3210's back plate, you need to check the vertical and horizontal directions of the back plate in order to have a good appearance. The following items are included in your Video Door Phone package. Check this list before installation to ensure that you have received all items. 3. To prevent power surge and lighting strike from damaging DP3210, back plate should be connected to the ground wire (earth wire) of the building. 1. Video Door Phone Unit 4. To conform to IP55 Enclosure, while installing Back Plate, apply Silicon Glue to the surface between Back Plate and Wall to prevent rain/water from leaking into this device. 2. Back Plate 3. Connect the Ethernet Cable and DC wires Connect Ethernet cable to RJ-45 connector (1) for network connection. Quick Installation Guide Please contact your dealer immediately if items are missing. Rear Side (Ethernet Cable and 12VDC Connector) To connect 12VDC wire to the Video Door Phone, please follow the steps below: 1. Use Ferrule Crimping Tool to crimp Cord End Terminal tight with wire inside 2. Insert the Cord End Terminal into 2-pin Terminal Block. (Please take notice of color of positive, negative ends) 3. Insert 2-pin Terminal Block into 12VDC connector on the rear side of DP3210. And, remember to fasten screws on 2-pin Terminal Block. Suggested Installation Position Due to the view angle of the camera is limited, therefore the installation position for Video Door Phone is crucial. In order to get a better view, the view angle of this door phone should be around 105. Also the height of the lens position is suggested at the distance of 155 cm according to building conditions. WARNING: Avoid eyes exposure to the beam of the WL (White Light) LED for a long time, or it may cause discomfort to your eyes. Installation Procedures 1. Screw the Back Plate on the wall. Drill a hole that is able to let the 12VDC wires and Ethernet cable pass through. While installing Back Plate, apply Silicon Glue to the both sides between Back Plate and Wall to prevent rain/water from leaking into this device. NOTE: 1. The protective film on the DP3210 should not be torn up during DP3210 installation. Do not tear up the protective film until new residents move in the house. 800-0000015-00-00 3. Screw the Video Door Phone with Back Plate. Finding Video Door Phone on Network There is a software utility provided by your local distributor or local dealer which is able to help you to find Video Door Phones when using dynamic IP address. Please execute following utility: AmRoad Search Tool.exe Item Description MAC Address This is a quasi-unique identifier attached to most network adapters. IP Type The default value is DHCP Client. There are three options: DHCP Client, Static IP and PPPoE. A. DHCP Client: The system will automatically assign you an IP address. You will see a window pop up on screen. This utility will search whole network segment automatically by pressing “Search” button, then it will show search results. B. Statics IP: you have to input IP address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, Primary DNS and Secondary DNS data. C. PPPoE: This allows you to set Internet connection with User Name and Password. Save Click this button to save your setting. SIP SETTING The MAC Address of your Video Door Phone can be found on the label of Video Door Phone. By the MAC Address, you can identify the IP Address of your Video Door Phone. NOTE: With the IP Address, you can configure your Video Door Phone through Web Browser. Log in DP3210 via Web UI Item Description Authentication Display Name This name will show on the video phone of called parties. You can fill in the preferred name here. For example, Doorphone NOTE: Please enter Doorphone in the field of Display Name. When the Door Bell is pressed, there will be “Preview” function and “Ding-Dong” sound on Amroad IP Video Phone/Video Indoor Station. User Number You may fill in the phone number here, normally it is provided by service provider. To work with IP PBX, you may fill in extension number. For example, 807 SIP Proxy Server Service You may select “Enable” to connect other devices in SIP mode. NOTE: For Peer-to-Peer mode, both devices (DP3210 and remote device) need to select Disable in the dropdown menu. And, fill in each other’s IP address. Network Setting & SIP Setting A lot of parameters can be set through Web UI (User Interface). Here we have the examples of Network Setting and SIP Setting. For more detailed information, please refer to DP3210 Manual. IP Address NETWORK SETTING IP Address You may fill in the IP address of SIP Registrar Server here. Save Click this button to save your setting. You may fill in the IP address of SIP Proxy Server in this field. SIP Registrar Server NOTE: By default, “Burglar-proof Alarm” function is disabled. To enable the function of “Burglarproof Alarm”, press and hold “Door Bell” button for 5 seconds. Or, you may enter Web UI (User Interface) to enable the service of Alarm will be triggered while being stolen in Entrance Setting page. RESET Button and Original Factory Setting You may use a straightened paper clip to press the RESET button on Rear Side to reboot the Video Door Phone. A. Press the RESET button for about 3 seconds. The Video Door Phone will reboot and come to static IP 192.168.0.50. B.
