European Tour 2012 - Reseller Information Dear Reseller Partner We are delighted to invite you to participate in the Blackmagic Design European Tour. This document contains background information that you will find useful. Specific information relating to each destination city will be provided separately prior to each event, however the format for each date is the same. As a participant on the tour your involvement is set out below; Reseller Tables You will be provided with a covered table of approximately 1.8m x 0.9m (depending on venue), with a power socket provided to the table position. You will need to provide any additional cabling required. Reseller Branding You may place pull-up banners directly at the side or behind the reseller table for promotion and identity purposes. You will not be able to hang any items to the ceiling or walls of the venue and displays should be free standing. Exhibits You are invited to demonstrate and show products from this position and to engage with all attendees to promote your company. Please consider the most appropriate and complementary products for you to display to match the interests of attendees. In addition to Blackmagic Design and Apple products, appropriate items may include camera accessories (such as tripods, batteries, bags), storage solutions (particularly Thunderbolt enabled devices), and your own and third party developed software. Whilst we are more than happy for you to display and promote products from other manufacturers please consider that as this is a Blackmagic Design event the opportunity exists to primarily promote your relationship and expertise as a reseller in the local market. Should you wish to purchase discounted demonstration product prior to the event then please contact your Blackmagic Design Channel Sales Manager or distributor where applicable. Set-up and De-rig Please arrive at the venue to set-up by no later than 10:00am. Set-up should be completed by 11:30am. Derig should not commence until 6:00pm and should be completed by 7:00pm. Cost There is no charge for your participation in the event. Marketing As a participant of the event we ask that you assist in raising the awareness of the event and encouraging attendees in the following two ways; Email Marketing; please email your existing contact customer and prospect databases with details of the event and your participation. Suggested copy in English is attached and this should be translated as appropriate. Web Site Banner; a promotional web banner will be provided to suit the layout of your web site. Please situate this prominently on your home page with a click through link to the URL supplied for the event invitation. Further live demonstrations will show how to work with ProRes and the Blackmagic Cinema Camera’s file metadata with Final Cut Pro X. Plus how the camera’s built in Thunderbolt connection creates the ultimate Apple professional production workflow. Zeiss will introduce their range of high quality lenses for digital cinematography with practical guidance and demonstrations. European Tour 2012 - Background Information About the tour Blackmagic Design are staging a European Tour with an initial 5 dates planned for Q4 2012. The first 5 cities on the tour are Stockholm, Hamburg, London, Prague and Milan.
