How do I transfer photo albums from my computer to Ever Frames V09 digital photo frame?

Connect Ever Frames V09 to a power source using AC adapter. On your PC/Mac, create folders with the photos you wish to transfer to Ever Frames V09 and label the folders. Optimize photos to match Ever Frames V09 digital photo frame screen: 800 x 480 px. resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio.

Transfer optimized photos onto Ever Frame V09 by connecting Ever Frame to PC/Mac using the USB cable. Ever Frame appears as a Removable Disk when connected to PC/Mac. Ever Frame should begin playing a slideshow automatically. 1
Remote control is not working

Check if the battery has power. Replace with new CR-2025 lithium button-cell battery if necessary.
Ever Frames V09 digital photo frame can’t read USB flash drive. •
Make sure photo, audio or video files on USB flash drive are compatible with Ever Frames V09 digital photo frame.

Ever Frame V09 is displaying “File Open Failed” Press “BGM” button on the remote. - Memory card/stick is empty. - Files have not been properly formatted. - USB flash drive has not been properly formatted. For detailed guidance on how to format USB flash drive, visit section “Formatting USB Flash Drive” of this User Guide.
Mac computer created duplicate files that cannot be read by Ever Frames V09.
Mac software creates duplicate files when the photo are copied. These duplicate filed are not displayed on Mac, but can be seen in the files list in Ever Frame V09. - Go to “Files” menu. - Press “OK”. - Select the files that the frame cannot read (usually files in .DS_Store format). - Delete the files. *Visit section “Deleting photos from Ever Frames V09” for detailed instructions on how to delete photos.
Deleting photos from Ever Frames V09 Using PC or Mac • Insert USB drive into USB drive on PC or Mac. • Open the folder with the files to be deleted. • Press “Ctrl” or “Command” and left-click to select the photos. • Press “Delete”. • Press “Ctrl + S” or “Command + S”. By using Ever Frame V09 remote control • Press “Menu” on remote control. • Navigate to “Files” menu and press “OK”. • Use Up/Down arrow buttons on remote to scroll to the file to be deleted. • Highlight the file and press “OK”. 3
USB Flash Drive Formatting USB flash drives used for storing or transferring files of multiple formats may have bits and pieces of data left on the USB flash drive after the files have been deleted. Removing these data fragments by formatting USB flash drive may help avoid potential conflicts in the USB flash drive function.
Windows user formatting guide Click on “Explore Files” Menu or press “Windows + E”.

Select the memory card that needs to be formatted. Click “Manage” on top of the screen & Click “Format”.
A pop- up window will appear prompting you to select the file system. You may select the default FAT 32 File System. Click “Start” to begin formatting the memory card.

Insert USB drive into Mac USB port.

Go to “Utilities” menu. Click on “Disk Utility”.

Select the USB flash drive. Select “Erase” tab on top of the screen. Click “Erase” button on the bottom of the screen to begin formatting.

Images appear stretched and distorted. Most images taken by modern smartphones and cameras are large in size which causes Ever Frame V09 to load the images slowly or distort them. Use online conversion software: • Resize batch images to match Ever Frame V09 screen resolution 840 x 480 pix. and 16: 9 aspect ratio. • We recommend picresize.com for quick and easy resizing of batch photos. *Refer to section Resizing Images Using Picresize.com for detailed instructions on image resizing using online software. **Ever Frames is not affiliated with picresize.com or any other third parties listed in this guide. Adjust Ever Frame settings: • Press “Setup” on Ever Frame V09 remote control. • Select “Photo Setup” under the Setup menu. • Scroll down to “Display Ratio”. • Select “Scale”. • Press”OK” on the remote.
Ever Frame V09 is not playing slideshow Press “BGM” button on Ever Frame V09 remote control. Adjust slide show speed: • Press “Setup” on Ever Frame V09 remote control. • Highlight ‘Photo Setup” menu on the top menu bar. • Press “OK”. • Press Down/Up arrow button to scroll down and highlight “Slide Speed” option. • Press Right/left arrow button to select desired slideshow transition speed.

Photos don’t look right Adjust Ever Frame settings: • • •
Press “Setup” on Ever Frame V09 remote control. Select “System Setup” from the top menu bar. Scroll down to adjust brightness, contrast, saturation, and hue.
Clean Ever Frame screen using a very mild detergent, a very small amount of water and a soft cloth.
Photo orientation is incorrect Windows 8 & later or Mac software adjusts orientations of photos during a preview on the computer, but does not permanently adjust the orientation of the images. Ever Frame V09 displays the photos in the orientation they were originally taken. See section below for instructions on how to adjust orientation of photos using PC or Mac.

Adjusting photo orientation PC Users • Open the folder with the images that need to be rotated. • Press “Ctrl” key continuously and left-click to select photos to be rotated. • While still pressing “Ctrl” key, right-click for clockwise/counterclockwise rotation options. • Press “Ctrl + S” to save adjusted orientation. Mac Users • Press “Command” and left-click to select photos to be rotated. • Press “Command + R” to rotate photos clockwise until images assume correct orientation. • Press “Command + S” to save adjusted orientation.
Resizing images Using Picresize.com Picresize.com allows to adjust the size and aspect ratio of individual images or whole albums in just a few minutes. •
Go to picresize.com , click on «Multiple pics», and then on «Add Multiple Files» button.

Select the folder(s)/files you wish to upload to EverFrames V09 Digital Photo Frame, then click «Open» button on the bottom of the screen.

Click «Upload Files» button and wait for the photos to be uploaded to your PC/Mac.

Click «Custom Size» in the «Set Resize Options» field, and enter 800 pixels for Width and 480 pixels for Height, then click «Submit Batch Job».

Wait until four icons appear, then click on «Save to Disc».

Resized photos will be automatically downloaded to your default download folder as one compressed file (file name will be will be resized.rar). You can unpack it with WinRar sofware. If that software is already installed on your computer, all you need to do is right-click the file you just saved, and select «Extract to resized/» option.
