Evolu ution MottorSports s V-Flow Filter Ma aintenanc ce d Oiled Fiilters Dry and Filters sh hould be cleaned an nd serviced every-o other oil ch hange or ch hecked at least onc ce a year on low-mileage cars s. Step 1: Re emove and d Clean 1. Completely rem move the EVOMS V-Flow V airffilter(s) fro om the ve ehicle and gently shak ke off and brush awa ay excess grime an nd dirt. 2. For oiled o filters s, spray on o the EVO OMS appro oved clean ning solution until the filter is satturated an nd let the filter soak k for 10 minutes. m F dry or “Syntham For max” filters, spray the filter with w a 50/5 50 mix of water and d Simple Green G unttil the et the filter soak forr 10 minuttes. filter is saturatted and le he filter from the inside out with w a low pressure water strream 3. Genttly rinse th from a tap or hose until the water comes through clear. Repe eat steps 2 and 3 if nec cessary. Step 2: Dry y 1. Once e the filterr is clean, allow the filter to dry thoroughly. A fa an may be e used to sp peed the process. p 2. If you have a dry d Install the filter back on o the carr. are done! 4. If you have an n oiled filte er, please read on! Step 3: Re e-Oil 1. Inclu uded in the e EVOMS V-Flow filtter serviciing kit is a bottle off oil. This oil is the only o appro oved oil fo or the V-Flow filters. Do not use transm mission oiil, moto or oil, dies sel fuel or light weig ght oils. MAKE M SUR RE TO NOT T OVER OIIL. 2. Make e one pass s around the t filter and a lightly y mist the entire surface of th he outsiide of the filter. Do o not oil th he inside of o the filte er. 3. Allow w the filterr to sit forr at least 20 2 minute es for the oil o to abso orb into th he filter. Touch up u any mis ssed spots s as neces ssary. 4. Allow w the filterr to cure as a long as possible before reinstalling the filter, overn night is re ecommend ded. 5. Reins stall, and enjoy!
