TÜV tested 3M filters to ISO standards Internationally respected TÜV Rheinland, a 125-year-old company, specialises in helping manufacturers comply with global market regulations through product safety testing and quality assurance certifications. TÜV Rheinland tested 3M Executive Filters’ performance on computer monitors with built-in anti-reflection treatments against ISO Standard 9241-7. The results showed that these filters can improve a monitor’s antireflection performance, and, in some cases, even raise it to the next higher ISO classification level.
The American Optometric Association recognises Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS) as “eye and vision problems related to ‘near’work which are experienced during, or related to, computer use.” Discomforts include eyestrain, headaches, dry or irritated eyes, neck and/or backaches and light sensitivity.
