EXHIBIT B - SCOPE OF WORK CNMCC Student Resource Building room SRC-204 (Richard Barr Boardroom) The following information specifies audiovisual needs for the CNMCC Main Campus SRC-204 equipment upgrade. The total number of rooms is one (1) and the overview of the room functionality is below:
The following is intended to further describe the Work and clarify design intent and is not an exhaustive description of the systems A ceiling mounted front projection screen shall be provided by the selected vendor for display of a single vendor provided video projector located on a ceiling mount. The Vendor is responsible for all required hardware and mounts to mount the video projector in an inverted position. A vendor provided spare projector lamp will be required.
The following sources can be displayed:
Inputs for portable devices located in the 3 existing floor pockets, comprised of VGA with 3.5mm audio and composite video with stereo audio and controlled by the existing CRESTRON Control Unit located in the storage closet on the SW side of the room.
Speech and program audio volume control/equalization/amplification shall be provided. This room will be equipped with ceiling mounted pendant speakers for use as program audio reinforcement.
A mixing console, microphones and all processing equipment is provided for live audio mixing and will be located in an area to be determined by the specified installer and CNM Audiovisual Services within SRC-204. All microphone inputs will be routed directly to the mixing console. Equipment rack for switchers, audio amplifiers and signal processing equipment shall be located in the above mentioned area to be determined by the specified installer and CNM Audiovisual Services. Sufficient cable length shall be provided to allow the rack to be pulled out for service and maintenance.
A video capture system will be provided for recording and storage of scheduled board meetings and other meetings as determined by CNM Administration.
The following items will need to be provided and will be the components used for the installation. Specifications listed below are a minimum level of performance. Equipment substitutions shall be clearly noted as part of the bid response and are subject to review and approval by CNM. Control System programming: Provide fully-functional control systems with all required control system programming. Vendor shall have a Crestron Certified programmer assigned to this project. A certified independent programmer is acceptable. Vendor shall provide the name, Certification level and Certification Number as part of the bid response. The vendor will be responsible for the fully operational installation and Crestron component programming of the listed systems and components using all necessary and construction rated cables. Crestron approved cable shall be provided for all Digital Media components.
The Vendor will provide all equipment and cabling required to enable these systems. Meeting all applicable Codes is the sole responsibility of the Vendor. The data network and electrical 120V outlets will be the provided by CNM. Vendor to extend 120V power from the wall outlet to the audio and reinforcement system and the Video Capture system and provide Ethernet cable where applicable. All cables shall be neatly bundled. Vendor shall have a Crestron Certified Digital Media Engineer (DMC-E) assigned to this project on staff. Vendor shall provide the technicians name and Certification Number as part of the bid response. Vendors shall supply a list of all sub-contractors who will be working on this project as part of the bid response. The Vendor will be responsible for providing a final system design that meets CNM specifications, meets all applicable code requirements and achieves the desired functionality. The selected Vendor will be responsible for a complete and fully functional installation. The Vendor will test systems and demonstrate to CNM staff (Audiovisual Services) system functionality. CNM reserves the right to accept or deny the installed systems based on demonstrated functionality.
