WHEN STABILITY RHYM For professionals active in the sewerage, roadwork or earthwork sectors, the 712MC meets your expectations of compactness, versatility and profitability within the confines of limited working space.
COMPACTNESS AND STABILITY With a 1,490 mm tail swing radius, the 712MC can work within one single traffic lane. Furthermore, its boom geometry allows: - excellent access to small or encumbered work sites with height restrictions (total rotation within 3,660 mm) - the operator to carry out work extremely close to the machine. In order to meet user needs, the 712MC can be fitted with steel tracks (500, 600 or 750 mm) or rubber tracks (500 mm) for use on urban work sites. Keeping efficient performance and stability a priority, Mecalac proposes an optional blade that assists ground adherence.
The variable boom makes the 712MC efficient in every situation. Its jib lift system, composed of two asymmetrical cylinders, guarantees a lifting force that is unique in this machine class and uniform over the entire jib travel range.

EFFICIENCY
The two driving speeds of 5.5 and 3 km/h reduce transfer time on the construction site. All electronic systems are controlled and monitored by the BUSCAN,* which optimizes machine use by providing the operator with all the information required. * See details on p.12.

ES WITH PRODUCTIVITY VERSATILITY = PROFITABILITY The 712MC digs, loads and handles, and may be equipped with a wide range of accessories thanks to the standard rapid coupling system. Accessory changes may be carried out in just a few seconds without leaving the cabthanks to Mecalac ACTIVE LOCK, hydraulic quick-release coupling. The patented boom geometry of this machine is based on extensive Mecalac experience and makes it ideal for use in such tasks as excavating, loading and materials handling.

Offset For your drainage channel installation work, the 712MC meets all your needs for compactness and power. The offset* to the right or the left of boom facilitates trench work: the bucket may be offset by 1,930 mm from the machine axis. This offset is used. * Option.

Management of working space Thanks to the original kinematics of the equipment and the lifting arm system with two asymmetric cylinders, the 712MC smoothes and digs with a high level of precision and performance . Digging and loading buckets for earthwork, pallet forks, road surface disk, rock breaker… are only a few of the tools used daily and changed quickly and easily. The short turret radius does not exceed 1490 mm which leaves the other lane free and therefore does not hinder road traffic. The operator may therefore concentrate his attention entirely on the working zone.

BUSCAN ELECTRONIC CONTROL SYSTEM This system provides a communication interface between the various machine elements (engine, hydraulics, controls). This offers the following advantages:
- Simplified driving Modes: in addition to the pre-selected driving modes, it is also possible: - to work at various power levels. - to fine-tune machine operation of precision work. - to work at all engine speeds.
- Optimisation of performance Electronic regulation system for the machine pump enabling interaction of the hydraulic and combustion power sources in order to optimise machine operation.
