Connects type I (3.3mm thick) and type II (5mm thick) 32-bit 3.3V PCMCIA CardBus card to ExpressCard 34/54 card slot Suitable for laptop and desktop computers that are equipped with an ExpressCard/34 or ExpressCard/54 slot It operates any 32-bit PCMCIA CardBus PC card, wireless modem broadband PCMCIA AirCard, LAN PC card, video capture card, USB, IEEE1394 FireWire and eSATA CardBus adapters. 332-bit CardBus adapters usually have a gold grounding strip on the end that is inserted into the PCMCIA CardBus slot Hot plug support when bundled with CardBus card as a removal unit Supports Microsoft Windows 2000 SP4/Server 2003/XP & XP 64-bit/Vista & Vista 64-bit 7 & 7 64-bit Data transfer rate up to 2.5Gbps (PCIE) Operation voltage from ExpressCard socket 3.3V ± 5% Easy installation, no external power needed; CardBus card may need its own driver (see instructions in PDS)

CardBus card driver installation Insert PCMCIA CardBus (AirCard, Panasonic P2 etc.) in the card slot of this product. Insert into the ExpressCard slot of your computer and start your computer. Install the driver for the inserted CardBus according to the CardBus user manual. The driver is usually provided in the CardBus package or download from the CardBus Card manufacturer website. 4.
