EZConfig for Scanning Device Configuration Software Honeywell’s EZConfig for Scanning is a free software download from www.honeywellaidc.com that facilitates fast and easy one-to-one barcode scanner configurations. EZConfig for Scanning versions 4.1 and onward have been improved to provide both an intuitive interface and enhanced efficiency. The upgraded EZConfig provides a HTML-5, platform independent browserbased utility that quickly modifies a scanner’s settings to fulfill user’s needs. Our improved tool now allows users to make scanning configurations from multiple interfaces. EZConfig offers port-agnostic, automatic device detection, including USB keyboard mode (which accounts for 75%+ of users). EZConfig users can easily compare or clone their device settings. They are offered greater control of their configurations via real-time presentation of the changes they are making in the form of a “receipt”, so that they can review before saving their modifications. For more advanced users, the data formatting tab has been improved to simplify and expedite formatting changes.
