Matrix Switcher VM6 6 HD-SDI Inputs / 4 HD-SDI Outputs - All-in-One Matrix Switcher
1. Introduction The Lumantek VM6 is one of a kind hybrid Video Matrix Switcher. Adding the key advantages from traditional Matrix/Switchers, allows the seamless Live switching between the media with 6 input and 4 output of SD/HD-SDIs. Every single input of VM6 system is ‘Frame Synced’. Simple system operation via control buttons on main unit or remote control with console is available. S/W Fill & Key option brings the features you could find only in the high-end system.
The video is processed with 4:2:2 10 bit predecessor, embedded analogue audio and external Stereo XLR is supported. Each channel videos and audios are separately controllable. One HDMI preview channel

① Display selected screen effect - Screen effects can be changed at section F. - Screen effects are [Mix], [Left to Right], [Top to Bottom] and [Right to Left], [Bottom to Top] with ‘INV(inverse)’ button at the bottom of the console.
② Display selected resolution - Resolutions support “1080i60 / 1080i 59.94 / 1080i 50 / 720p 60 / 720p 59.94 / 720p 50 / 625i / 525i” Resolution setting can be changed from the front panel(interface) of the VM6 main unit. ① Display each input channels which are now broadcasting to A/B/C/D output channels. - Channel ‘A’ links input ‘1’. - Channel ‘B’ links input ‘2’. - Channel ‘C’ links input ‘3’. - Channel ‘D’ links input ‘4’.

Output Display Area
① Select output channels, ‘A/B/C/D’. ② Display an output channel which is currently chosen. C
Input Display Area
① Display input channels which are currently chosen. ② Apply input channels ‘-/1/2/3/4/5/6/BAR/BG’ for the output channel which is currently chosen. D
Audio Area
① Display [Input channel audio] / [External audio] for the output channel chosen. E
Fill/Key Setting Area
① Select on/off of [Key function] for the output channel chosen. ② Key function is only available for the unit licensed by option upgrade.

Screen Switching Effect Setting Area
① Select [Switching effect] for the output channel chosen. ② If the slide bar is placed on the bottom [Min], the switching effect is fixed as ‘Cut’.
* VM6 main unit and Console are directly linked via LAN cable. ** No cross cable connection for this system.

** LCD Screen Description
- Display selected switching effect. - Display selected system resolution. - Display each input channels which are now broadcasting to A/B/C/D output channels. - Input channel information indicator ‘1/2/3/4/5/6’.
- Select VM6 system resolution. - Resolutions of Input channels ‘1/2/3/4/5/6’ should be identical to the system supported resolutions below. “1080i60 / 1080i 59.94 / 1080i 50 / 720p 60 / 720p 59.94 / 720p 50 / 625i / 525i”. - Select [Screen switching effect] and its duration.
- Select a Background color.
- Select [Input channel audio] / [External audio] for output channels.
- Select [on/off] of Fill/Key features for output channels.
- Save system configuration.
