This report lists the e grant applicaations and awaards for the new 2012-13 fisccal year (only July 1, 2012 2 to August 31, 2012), and d includes a co omplete annual report for fiscal yearr 2011-12 (Julyy 1, 2011 throu gh June 30, 20 012). Each repo ort lists each applicatiion and award during that tim me, with inform mation on the PI, Co-PI(s), the grant g title, spoonsor, and amo ount. The CEAS Office of Research h Support gathe ered this inforrmation from m monthly r distribu uted by the Grraduate Schooll and WISPER rrecords. funded grant reports Dr. Al Ghorba anpoor  Insid de This Issue I am especially pleased to an nnounce our proposal successs rate this yea ar was n the ratio of a pplications to awards. This is significantly above 41%, based on the national average, a which is less than 200% for NSF and NIH. Much of this success is due e to faculty wriiting stronger aand more comp petitive propossals, and to the CEA AS Office of Re esearch Supporrt for its excellent proposal development and a manageme ent expertise. 1 A Associate Dean’’s Message 2 U Upcoming NSF Grant G Deadliness In this issue yo ou will see brooad faculty rep presentation in both applicatiions and awards.
