Ans: There are 3 ways to identify 3G/3.5G Modem information key in correctly. [NOTE] Most of the ISPs do NOT use User Name/Password in Network Settings, please leave User Name/Password in Network Settings BLANK. If the User Name/Password is required by ISP, please fill them in WAN/’3G/3.5G’ Settings. 1. In Network ConnectionÆWAN Setting ÆUSB page, let the information as default value.

Question2: Why wireless connect fail with 3G ISP? Ans: 1. Please upgrade to latest firmware (reset MH-3400 to default settings after upgrading the firmware.), the new firmware is available on Planet website. And check this 3G USB wireless card is support in the compatible list or not, otherwise it will NOT work. 2. Please test 3G USB wireless card installed in your PC first, make sure the 3G USB wireless card works normally and wireless connection successfully. 3. Be notice the signal is good or weak from ISP in your location. This information in the USB page. It would affect the transition performance and connection status.
4. Please check the 3G/3.5G Status information as below, if it shows disconnected and doesn’t get IP from ISP, then continue step 5 to check the advance setting.

5. Be notice you have to select one item in the USBÆUSB Power Saving page, if not select the power saving mode, the 3G/3.5G USB will unavailable.
6. If the 3G/3.5G USB still not work, please check the “Add log for auto self test” box to record the USB log. Then go to the Log page to save the System log as a .txt file and back to Planet Corp.
