The TOP420-P is a full range, active portable loudspeakers system providing clear sound, wide dispersion and low distortion performance, all in a very compact molded enclosure. This 2-way loudspeaker thanks to the use of high precision 12" woofer, with strong magnetic unit and 1" exit compression driver, sapiently built and tuned in a strong injection molded box has very smooth, low distortion audio performance with a linear curve also out of the on-axis field. The asymmetrical trapezoidal cabinet has been designed to provide an ideal floor monitoring position. There is an integrated pole mount on the bottom of the cabinet and a strong weather resistant grill. Two flying points on the top and two on the bottom of the box provide easy to install possibility. The internal active two way dual amplifier features an high resolution cross-over with driver phase adjustment system, balanced input both in XLR and in Jack connectors, full protections against short-circuit over- temperature and overcurrent. The high power toroidal transformer has an internal auto-resettable protection that provides to disconnect the main power in case of over-current and temperature conditions. A dual optical limiter circuit prevents audio clipping with a smooth automatic compression algorithm. This active speaker is equipped with an over-high dynamic processor that allows the user to select one of the 16 available presets depending on environment condition and music selection.
La TOP420-P è una cassa attiva full range, molto maneggevole che offre un suono molto chiaro con un’ampia dispersione e distorsione minima. Il tutto in un box veramente compatto. Questo piccolo modello a 2 vie può tranquillamente competere con i modelli più grandi grazie al suo cono da 12” e al suo driver a compressione da 1” caricato a tromba, sapientemente integrato nello chassis della cassa. Il risultato è veramente ottimo, distorsioni al minimo e una risposta sonora lineare anche fuori dall’ascolto in asse. La cassa è dotata di molti punti di rinforzo che le conferiscono un’ottima resistenza e rigidità. La griglia frontale, molto resistente, offre grande protezione anche in condizioni di utilizzo estreme. Inoltre il disegno asimmetrico è studiato anche per un utilizzo da monitor di palco. Due punti di aggancio integrati, uno sopra e uno sotto, ne consentono l’aggangio a flying bar. L’amplificatore interno a 2 vie offre un ingresso XLR e uno Jack entrambi bilanciati. Inoltre totalmente protetto contro cortocircuiti, surriscaldamento e sovralimentazione. Il trasformatore toroidale ha una protezione elettronica interna auto resettabile che automaticamente disconnette l’alimentazione in caso di sovralimentazione o surriscaldamento. Un circuito di limiter ottico che utilizza un algoritmo di compressione “soft” previene dal clip.
