Horizon
®
Horizon is a compact, in-counter, hands-free laser bar code scanner designed with a dense 20-line scan pattern that provides fast, efficient throughput. Designed to withstand the most rugged conditions, each Horizon is equipped with an integrated EAS deactivation antenna and IR laser activation to help improve operator comfort and productivity. The scanner’s multiple-interface capability safeguards capital investment in the event of a change in the POS system or software.
Ideal for presentation scanning in moderate-volume retail environments such as convenience stores, liquor stores and pharmacies, end users can individually customize the scan pattern and operate the scanner in either a hand-held or hands-free fashion.
Each Horizon includes an RS232 auxiliary port for troublefree incorporation of peripherals, including hand-held bar code scanners, check readers and magnetic-stripe readers.
With the push of just one button, the single-line scanning feature saves time and reduces unwanted scans on menu-style codes by providing targeted scanning through Metrologic’s patented CodeGate technology. ®

The Metrologic ScanGlove automatic single-line scanner provides a flexible solution to a variety of data-capture applications utilizing 1D bar codes. Lightweight and durable, ScanGlove can be used as a wearable back-of-hand or stationary desktop scanner.

A field-replaceable outer window eliminates the need to send the entire unit out for repair. Compatible with most current POS systems, InVista simplifies setup and integration by using bar code menus or MetroSet 2, a Windows-based software. ArgusSCAN
ArgusSCAN is an on-counter, hands-free bar code scanner. The omnidirectional scan pattern creates a large scan area, maximizing performance in medium-to-high throughput POS applications. Offering four stand configurations, the ArgusSCAN is adaptable to a variety of applications. The modular design allows it to be mounted on a counter, in a horizontal or vertical configuration. An optional flex-stand can be added, raising the scanner an additional 76 mm (3”) off the counter. ArgusSCAN comes with multiple interfaces and data parsing capabilities for simplified compatibility with most POS host systems. The RS232 auxiliary port integrates check readers, magnetic-stripe readers or secondary hand-held bar code scanners.
