Description: The DMX Fiber system transmits standard DMX-512 across a fiber optical cable. Fiber lines are immune to EMI/RFI and transient surges, making them ideal for use near heavy electrical equipment and other electrical or radio interference. All units are supplied with standard ST fiber optic connectors and are compatible with 50/12µm or 62.5/125µm multi-mode cable.
Transmitter: The Transmitter uses the incoming DMX-512 signal to drive the Fiber Optic transmitter. The transmitter has both male and female XLR connectors to allow for daisy-chaining between multiple DMX-512 devices. Receiver: The Receiver receives the optical DMX-512 data and converts it to standard DMX-512 levels. Timing matches the original signal.
DMX Fiber Installation: The following drawing illustrates how the DMX Fiber devices are connected. The console on the left drives the Transmitter (FL-TX) which is connected to the Receiver (FL-RX) via a Fiber Optic Cable. Plug and Play, no configuration or programming is necessary.
