Plug the external adaptor in AC wall outlet after connecting to charger 2. Place Li-ion battery pack on the base (image 1) 3. Move the contact needles (located underneath the charger) up and/or down to align with the “+” and “-” contacts on the battery (image 2). The charger will automatically detect “+” and “-” (polarity). 4. After adjusting to be correct position, vertically straighten battery (image 3) 5. LCD bar will flash during charging 6. LCD display will show full segment when fully charged 7. Unplug the adaptor after charging OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS (AA/AAA Ni-MH/Ni-Cad Batteries) 1. Plug the external adaptor in AC wall outlet after connecting to charger 2. Place Ni-MH/Ni-Cad AA/AAA on the base in correct position (image 4) 4. LCD bar will flash during charging 5. LCD display will show full segment when fully charged 6. Unplug the adaptor after charging 7. The length of each AA/AAA should be the same if charging 4 batteries together IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS 1. Before using this charger, read the instructions carefully 2. This charger is intended for use with Li-ion and Ni-MH/Ni-Cad rechargeable batteries only. Attempting to charge any other types of batteries will cause personal injury and damage to the charger 3. Do not expose the charger or adapters to rain or moisture. Designed and intended for indoor use only 4. Always unplug the charger when not in use 5. Do not operate the charger if it has been subject to shock or damage. If subjected to shock or damage have it serviced by a qualified service technician 6. Do not disassemble the charger.
