There is no race number distribution on Sunday, race day.
Bring your bank receipt or bib number confirmation document to Expo to pick up your race number.

Wear your race number on the front of your clothing so transportation and race officials can easily see it

Start Time: 8:30am Transportation: CP TRAIN – Cascais line
You must take a shuttle to the half and mini marathon start of on Vasco da Gama Bridge. It is the only way to the start.
There is No Baggage Check for Half or Mini Marathon. Please plan accordingly.
There is no water on the bridge. Bring your own bottle if you think you might be thirsty.
Half Course time limit is 3 hours and Marathon is 6 hours (gun time). If you exceed this pace, you will be asked to move to the sidewalk.

Half Marathon & Mini Start Line: Vasco da Gama Bridge Start Time: 10:30am Transportation: All runners MUST take shuttle bus from Oriente Train/Metro Station to the start line on the bridge Shuttle times: 7:30-9:00am (Approx. every 15 mins)
TRANSPORTATION The Lisbon metro, train and city buses are free on race day for runners with a race number from 6am-7pm. Insider tip: carry small change for emergencies.
Half Marathon and Mini All runners must take a shuttle to start line on the Vasco da Gama Bridge. The shuttle ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Shuttles are the only way to the start line. Shuttles pick up runners outside between the Oriente Metro Stop and Gare do Oriente Train Station at Parque das Nações. Free shuttles run from 7:30 to 9:00am The race starts at: 10:30am
Marathon
The marathon begins in Cascais and finishes in Parque das Nações in Lisbon. Marathon runners staying in Cascais can walk to the start. There is street parking for private vehicles, most is free on Sunday. The majority of runners will take the train. There is no metro or bus to the marathon start in Cascais. CP Train: Use Cascais Line_ Cais do Sodré station. Plan to arrive in Cascais no later than 7:30am. From downtown Lisbon to Cascais the train takes about 40 minutes. Trains run about every 20-30 minutes. Runners may need to take one or more metro lines to the Cais do Sodré station. Metro does not open until 6:30.
It is a 10 minute walk to the start line from the train station in Cascais.
To return to Cascais, from the finish at Parque das Nações to Cascais will take about one hour.
COURSE SUPPORT Below lists course support locations for each race. Water is served in bottles, Powerade will be served in cups in a variety of flavors, and HIGH5 Energy Gel will be served at two locations. The medical tent at the finish is yellow. Medical Assistance Volunteers are dressed in blue T-shirts. The Emergency telephone number in Portugal is 112.

Timing and Results Rock ‘n’ Roll Lisbon is pleased to offer MyLaps Bib Tag timing system. The timing device is attached to your bib number. Please do not bend or remove. Pin your bib number in the center of your chest and cross all timing mats. Please note:
Marathon kilometer markers are black. Half Marathon kilometer markers are white. The mini marathon is not timed. Results will be posted online by 7pm. www.rocknrolllisbon.com Results are official three weeks after the event. Overall results use gun time. Finisher certificates use ‘chip time.’ If you think there is a mistake with your time, you must complete an online correction form. You will find the correction form on the results page of the event website. All phone calls, emails and facebook posts will be directed to the correction form on the website.
Baggage Check There is NO baggage check for the half marathon or mini marathon. Baggage check for the Marathon will be available from 7am to 8:20am. The race starts at 8:30am. You must use the bag we provide at the Sports
Expo. You will receive the bag along with your race number. A sticker with the same number will be affixed to the bag. Your bag will be transported from the start in Cascais to the finish at Parque das Nações. All bags must be claimed by 2:45pm. Unclaimed bags will be returned to the Maratona Office. Please do not leave valuables. The organization is not responsible for lost items. Marathon Pace Teams Have you trained to cross the finish line in a particular time? Pace Teams are available in the Marathon for times of 3:00, 3:15, 3:30, 4:00; 4:15, 4:30 and 5:00 hours. You can meet your Pace Team leader at the start of the Marathon. MarathonFoto ® - Official Photographer As the official event photographer, MarathonFoto® will be there to capture the race for you. You can purchase your photos online after the event on www.marathonfoto.com You will see the photographers at the start, throughout the course, at the finish line and in the secure zone where you can take your “Finisher Photo” and “Medal Photo”. Good luck and remember to do two things to make sure you get the very best photos: 1. Smile when you see the photographers! 2. Make sure your race number is centered and visible so they can identify you after the event.
