Engines 4-cylinder Tier II Cummins B4.5T-C99 mechanical turbocharged diesel engine has 275 cubic-in. displacement, and 99 gross brake horsepower at 2200 rpm. Peak torque is 305 ft.-lbs. at 1500 rpm. The fuel tank capacity is 28 gallons.
Transmission Heavy-duty 3-speed fully reversing modulated, powershift transmission has inching with brakes behind inching feature and electric roll shift control and flex plate drive. Heavy-duty spin-on oil filter is easily accessible. Separate air to oil transmission cooler.

Steer axle
Steer Axle Single hydraulic cylinder design with heavy-duty links directly from the cylinder ram to the tapered roller bearing mounted spindles. Axle is full power hydrostatic with cast wheels with bolt-on hub caps. The hydrostatic steer-on-demand steering systems provide constant response at all engine speeds and precise handling in restricted areas. Fixed-length tie links eliminate adjustments and mechanical linkages.
Drive Axle The bolted heavy-duty inboard planetary drive axle utilizes a spiraled, beveled, ring gear and pinion.
Hydraulic System Tank capacity is 26.7 gallons with spin-on tank breather utilizing a gear-type pump. Control valves are separate, stacked, spooltype, and controlled with hydraulic remotes. Dual lift cylinders have chrome plated rods and self-adjusting packing. Conveniently located control levers.

Electrical System One piece, flip-down instrument panel for easy servicing is prewired to accommodate heavy-duty accessories; All wiring is color coded; 12-volt electrical system; key-type anti-restart ignition system; heavy-duty battery; 100-amp alternator; mechanical pressure gauges; reset circuit breakers; lighted instruments; gauges include fuel level, hour meter, and engine coolant temperature.
Brake System Inboard force cooled, wet disc, air actuated over hydraulic service brakes provide full power. Separate air to oil cooler for brake cooling. The transmission is equipped with a springapplied/air off dry disc brake for parking.
Operator Station Ergonomically designed to provide maximum comfort and ease of control for the operator. The spacious rubber mounted, center mounted operator station has removable floorboard panels which provide easy access to components. Cab is optional. Levers located on the operator’s right control lifting, tilting, optional side shifting, and independent fork positioning. A tilt steering and suspension seat for operator comfort is standard. One piece instrument panel flips down for convenient service access and is prewired to accommodate heavy-duty accessories. All wiring is color coded. Mast The 11-ft. ULTRA-VU 2-stage mast provides outstanding forward visibility through the mast assembly. Two double-acting lift cylinders are located behind the mast beams. Tilt cylinders are double-acting with anti-cavitation feature. Lift and tilt cylinder rods are chrome plated and have self-adjusting packing. Tilt cylinders have adjustable ears.
Hinge down instrument panel
Chassis All-welded frame has an integral, sloped, counterweight and spring-assisted hood. Removable panels provide access to components. The rubber-mounted, center mounted, operator station and overhead guard is integral with the base assembly.
Carriage and Rollers The 60-in. pin type carriage has high strength-to-weight ratio; fully adjustable from 60-in. outside to 2-in. inside forks. The mast and carriage main rollers are common and use sealed, tapered, roller bearings. Chain rollers use sealed ball bearings. Adjustable side bearings compensate for wear.
Forks The pin-mounted forks are hammer forged from heat treated steel with increased thickness in critical heel sections. 2.5-in. x 6-in. x 48-in. forks are standard.
