SV-1200.PLW Universal Wireless Video Transmitter REV: B 10-13-2011 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: The SV-1200.PLW is a Wireless Transmitter that transmits a video signal from a camera to a monitor without having to run any video cables from the front to the back of the vehicle. This is perfect for the bigger trucks or SUVs that require a large amount of video cable run the length of the vehicle. The SV-1200.PLW can be hooked up to any SecurView™ or PlateCam™ camera. Make sure to connect the SV-1200.PLW to the correct voltage. Failure to do so may result in damage to the unit or any other components hooked up to it. 2. Even though the SV-1200.PLW is vibration protected, try not to mount the transmitter and receiver on any surface with excessive vibration or rattling. This may cause interference. WIRING: 1. Choose a convenient place to mount the Transmitter and Receiver for the unit. Behind the trunk panels and under the dash board, are usually suitable locations. 2. Connect the Red wire on the Transmitter and Receiver to +12V Reverse Light or +12V Ignition, and the Black wire of both units to Chassis Ground. 3. Connect the Yellow RCA video cable of the Transmitter to the RCA Video Output of your camera or video output device. 4. Connect the Blue RCA video cable of the Receiver to the RCA Video Input of your monitor. NOTE: Make sure all RCA cables and Power Plugs are secured tightly and wrapped in Electrical Tape to prevent short circuits.
