Fingerprint Scanner biOid The biOid fingerprint scanner is a special version of the MCR TCP/IP variant, in which the RFID card is replaced by your fingerprint; the most secure manner of user identification. Users identify themselves using their biOid (Finger) on the biOid Scanner, after which their print jobs are released at the MFP. This is a secure way to prevent unnecessary paper workflow falling into the hands of third parties. Input Fingerprint The software on the server determines the number of users that can be registered. There are scan engines available for 100 users up to 100.000 users. Two fingerprints per user are archived. To guarantee the privacy of users, Inepro does not store the fingerprints. The Biometric Manager creates a code on the basis of 17 reference points in the fingerprint. In this way, your privacy is guaranteed. “The safest possible way of user identification.” Inepro - Hardware - User Identification - D13 Specifications biOid Technical specifications Dimensions : Weight : Interface : Power supply : Network switch : Material : Color : Mounting : IP-address : Software : 121mm x 79mm x 57mm 0,1kg TCP/IP 12Vdc adapter or PoE (conform IEEE 802.3 AF) Present with 2 ports (IEEE 802.3 - 100 Base-T Speed) PC-122 Red (RAL 3020) or light grey (RAL 7035) With screw and/or tape, including cable ducts to tidy away connection cable DHCP or statische IP Client Is linked with Inepro Embedded DocuPRO software on MFP Supported security elements Data is supplied as a Human Interface Device (HID) Reciprocal authentication according to ISO 9798-2, with key diversification Additional software DocuPRO software module lnepro Back Office Suite for managing document flow D14 - Inepro - Hardware - User Identification
