1. Modify the format of mail header to make it RFC compliant, in order to fix the problem which caused mails to be displayed incorrectly when mails are sent via Exchange mail server. 2. Fix the problem which caused the time in the mail to be 1970/1/1 0:0:0 when a warning status is cleared. 3. Fix the problem which caused the time in the mail to be incorrect when the time zone settings are changed. 4. Fix the problem caused by System Info mail when the content of system information is too large in size. 5. Fix message format problems, including the time string, alignment, etc. Also, System Info mail no longer displays disk temperature when the SMART function is not enabled. (Previously displayed temperature 255 if SMART had not been enabled.) 1. Modify the fan fail alert threshold from 2300 RPM to 2000 RPM. 1. Update the LSI SCSI RISC code (version: 1.03.34.00) for support LSI SCSI 1030T A3 chip. 2. Adjust the firmware behaviors to shorten the I/O response time during SMART function execution. - Avoid executing the SMART command with all existing disks at the same time. The performance may drop during PIO read (firmware will change the data transfer mode from eDMA mode to PIO, and read 512 bytes one by one) - For function to read disk surface temperature via ATA SMART command (PIO data-in, 512byte) The Original method : Sequentially read disk temperature from disk 1 to maximan in each 16 second time interval. Change to : Sequentially read disk temperature from disk 1 to maximum in each 16 seconds time interval only when SMART mode is enabled. - For function of "Test Disk SMART" Keep the original method: execute the SMART test with all existing disks at the same time. (this is a manual function, which executes immediately) - For function of "disk check time" (periodically do SMART test after 60, 30, 15 and 1 minute) The Original method : execute the SMART test with all existing disks when the timer exceeds the preset value. 4F., No.529, Chung Cheng Road, Hsin-Tien City, Taipei Hsien, Taiwan, R.O.C. Change to : Sequentially do SMART test from disk 1 to maximum in each 10 seconds time interval, when the timer expires. 3. Change the firmware handling procedures when the BBM is attached and array is R6 or TP, and the system is abnormally shutdown during Host I/O access. 4. Change the parity generation procedures when the user disabled PreRead, set stripe size to 1024(or 512) and created a parity based Array for Array parity check, Array init, or Host I/O access applications. 5. Modify the fan speed control for Arena 89314 tower chassis. - Set fan speed to 2750 RPM when highest temperature decreased until 43°C, and alert fan fail event when fan speed lower then 2400 rpm 6. Notify the user to set SMTP mail account, if the user attempts to send event log mail without having set SMTP already. 7. Correct the display of hexadecimal numeric values display on the event log. 1. First release
