Turnkey Cabinet Solutions for the Customer Premises With the FLASHWAVE® 4100 Indoor Wall Mount (IWM) optical transport cabinet and battery back-up power cabinet, you can provide cost-effective, next-generation optical, TDM and Ethernet services to the customer premises. The FLASHWAVE 4100 IWM cabinet architecture is a turnkey, space saving solution to offer to your customers. It features compact and versatile enclosures for quickly installing the FLASHWAVE 4100 multiservice optical access platform and built-in safeguards for equipment security.

Customer Premises Cabinet Solutions
Battery Enclosure Provides Power Safety and Security Fujitsu offers maximum security from loss of commercial power and loss of customer service by including a battery cabinet enclosure as an integral part of the IWM architecture. This power cabinet provides power to the transport cabinet, and maintains customer service in the event of a commercial power outage. The battery back-up provides 63 amp hours to maintain a minimum of eight hours reserve power. The battery and transport cabinets are also secure, lockable and wall mountable.

The DC power mode involves deploying only one cabinet. It uses an existing –48 volt source provided by SBC or the customer. This cabinet houses a fuse and alarm panel and the FLASHWAVE 4100 small shelf.
Best of all, you can deliver exceptional optical transport services to your customers at their locations and protect your equipment investment at the same time by using the cabinet’s secure and compact enclosures.
Multiple Configurations in One Secure Enclosure The versatile IWM optical transport cabinet delivers all types of services to meet your customers’ demands. These services range from OC-3 and OC-12 back to the Central Office (CO) while simultaneously providing DS1, DS3 and Ethernet services to the customer.
If you are deploying in the AC power mode, two cabinets are required. In this configuration, one cabinet houses the AC/DC rectifier and the FLASHWAVE 4100 small shelf. The other cabinet houses the batteries. The two cabinets may be mounted either horizontally or vertically, with minimal constraints.
