Canary, an innovator in repeater manufacturing since 1987, is pleased to announce a new upgraded line of flexible multi-media repeaters. The CMR-4020, CMR-7020 and CMR-1420 utilize a four, seven and 14-slot modular approach to allow custom configuration of the repeater to the user’s specific requirements.
Custom Configuration
By determining the number of repeater segments needed and selecting the appropriate repeater chassis, the user can configure and install a tailor made unit. If future expansion is likely, then purchasing extra capacity today will save money, time and effort tomorrow.
Modular Repeater Interface
To configure the units, Canary offers four different slide-in repeater modules — each SRM module provides a single segment interface to the repeater motherboard. Modules include the SRM-AUI, SRM-BNC, SRM-F/O and SRM-UTP. SRM’s may be used in any combination.
Hot Swappable and User Upgradeable
All modules are hot swappable. All three units are user upgradeable. Simply slide the module into the chassis, plug into the midplane and turn the screws to secure.
