FLEXIMIX – EQUIPMENT PROGRAM
FLEXIMIX I
FLEXIMIX-PHOENIX
The WIWA FLEXIMIX Series, proven technology that leaves no wish open:
The new electronic WIWA two-component mixing and proportioning units for a wide variety of pressure ranges and all applications with freely adjustable mixing ratio. With little training required, this equipment is quick and easy to operate. The user friendly control panel enables start-up within seconds. WIWA‘s unique mixing and proportioning system allows trouble-free processing of materials with a short potlife. For materials with a potlife less than a few minutes, however, we recommend the WIWA DUOMIX Series. The proportioning ratio for all
High Performance
FLEXIMIX models is adjustable to two decimal places and the actual mixing ratio is shown in the display on the control panel. The new
Environmentally friendly Flexible
FLEXIMIX systems provide for nearly pulsation-free painting or coating at mix ratios from 0.5 to 50:1 with highly precise proportioning. The thousand-fold proven pumping technology of the PHOENIX, PROFESSIONAL and HERKULES Series with well thought-out design, high quality components and the precision in-house manufacturing are the basis for

FLEXIMIX I Key Advantages
FLEXIMIX II Key Advantages
• Automatic shutdown for off-ratio and runaway pump protection.
• Suitable for the processing of sol vent-based and solvent-free materials. In the stainless version, it is suita ble for use with water-based lacquers and other aggressive materials.
• Suitable for all lacquers and paints, as well as filled and abrasive materials.
• Minimizes flushing and solvent usage since long hoses are not required. • Environmentally friendly due to low spray fog resulting from the ability to process high viscosity materials without the addition of solvents. This new WIWA technology allows com pliance with VOC regulations. • Resettable and total volume coun ters (in liter and gallon) for material consumption calculations.
• Up to 16 different colors (components) can be controlled. • The Fleximix I can be combined with all current WIWA standard Airless units or with WIWA low pressure pumps. • Gear-wheel volume sensoring units are standard equipment. For abrasive ma terials, we recommend Corriolis sensors.
• Pressure ranges up to 450 bar. • Using the WIWA modular construction system, the FLEXIMX unit can be tailor-built to individual customer requirements. • Worldwide WIWA service, training and consultation available on location.
• Electronic evaluation systems are available as optional equipment.
• With the electronic evaluation sys tem, the customer has all details of the most important data, such as mixing ratio, spray output, opera tion status and error messages. Date and time are fully accountable. • The FLEXIMIX II does not require volume sensors, since the output is measured indirectly. This means little or no wear. • The compact design (< 1 meter wide) allows transport through small hallways and doors. • Continuity in the FLEXIMIX II series. All FLEXIMIX II (PHOENIX, PRO FESSIONAL, HERKULES) units use the same control system. No addi tonal training is required when switching between units within the series.
FLEXIMIX I
Ideal as a multiple color unit with freely adjustable mixing ratio
The WIWA FLEXIMIX I is an electronic mixing and proportioning unit for the processing of solvent and water-based paints. Through its precision and flexibility, the WIWA FLEXIMIX I attains a high efficiency and provides first-class surface quality. The FLEXIMIX I is thus the optimal solution for industry and trade. The unit allows the rapid change of up to 16 different paints and lacquers. The system can be used for low, as well as high pressure spraying. Paints of the greatly differing viscosity can be processed at outputs from a few milliliters
up to several liters per minute. With this innovative and futuristic technology, WIWA carries on with practical, solution-oriented concepts in the development of products for application technology.

Optional Accessories The optimal design and equipment solution through modular diversity The optional accessories available for the WIWA modular construction system guarantee that all WIWA FLEXIMIX units can be equipped according to individual customer requirements for special materials and areas of application. In these pages you will see a small sample of our complete accessory program. As the demands and requirements upon the various functions of our equipment can be very diverse, information about further equipment in our standard accessory program such as drum heating bands, drum floor heaters, heated containers, agitators, level controls and lifts, as well as special solutions, can be provided upon request.
WIWA fluid heaters for the trouble-free processing of especially highviscosity coatings which must be heated before application. The fluid heaters are explosion-proof and are available in high- and low-pressure versions. All wetted components are made of stainless steel. Especially beneficial is that the heat exchanger can be easily and separately replaced when servicing the unit.
WIWA feed systems for especially high-viscosity material. Depending on the viscosity and flow rate, we may recommend air-driven diaphragm or piston pumps, pressurized or heated tanks from our wide-ranging accessory program. At your request, we are happy to provide you a detailed consultation. Heated hoses. For longer fluid hoses and for application of materials which must be sprayed at higher temperatures, the hose package must be heated. For this we have electric and water-heated hose heating systems available. The appropriate version depends upon the type of application and jobsite requirements.
14
WIWA flush pumps for efficient and economical cleaning of the components which come into contact with mixed material. Pressure ratios and outputs will vary for the WIWA flush pump depending upon hose length.
Remote mixing block systems minimize disposal of mixed material and the environmental damage caused by solvent waste resulting from the cleaning of components in contact with mixed material. For materials with a short pot life, use of a remote mixer is unavoidable.
Practical carts for flexibility of transport on location. Through the compact design, also suitable for small gangways and doors. For stationary usage, we recommend a WIWA wall bracket or equipment stand.
Stable feed hoppers with a capacity of 25 liters are ideally suited for materials supplied in small containers. Their optimized form makes possible an efficient material delivery and provides for easy cleaning.
