This modem is available as multi-mode or single-mode fiber. The budget is covering the distance of 4, 8, 30 and 117 km. This Modem is intended to:  Extend in the customer premise the BRI line through an industrial campus from the Public termination with a full immunity to electric noise  Interconnect 2 PBX in a campus or over several stairs in a large building despite to the electric/elevator/air conditioning installation  Extend the BRI line in large infrastructure campus to connect PBX/phone set/Visio up to 60 km  This fiber optic modem is a secure communication link to transport voice communication for military, airport between central site and isolated users. The FO-4BRI is supporting the point to point connection (T0) or bus connection (S0). In the pair of modem one equipment must be set as TE in order to be connected to the Network or the PBX while at the other end the other modem is set as NT to connect to the ISDN terminal. The FO-4BRI-C is supporting the power feeding of the BRI to use a ISDN phone without power.
