Rosco’s new fog machine combines the most reliable, tested components for fog productions with the latest electronic ideas for design versatility. This machine is a triumph of solid engineering and design sensitivity. It not only produces greater fog output than any machine in it’s price class, but also has a wide range of output applicable for any situation. Using the wide array of Rosco water-based fog fluids, the fog is always dry and controllable. The major components, the heat exchanger and pump, are easily accessible for servicing. These components have both been proven reliable and durable in other Rosco fog systems used intensely in theme parks and other venues around the world. The Delta DMX 3000 offers DMX as standard equipment, and is available with a choice of three remote control devices. The Digital Remote allows you to set the DMX address (in one of five languages!). The timers can be set to real time with up to 10 minutes ON time and 10 minutes OFF time. In addition to DMX control and timers, this remote can operate the fog machine directly. The Analog Remote provides the same basic features, but uses an analog interface. The Solo DMX Remote is designed for those who will run the machine exclusively from the light board. Rosco has improved the performance of Coldflow™ with a redesigned aluminum chamber and finely tuned electronics. Coldflow™ uses liquid carbon dioxide to “make” dry ice inside the aluminum chamber. The output of a fog machine, such as the Rosco Model 1600, passes through the aluminum chamber and is chilled so that it lays close to the ground. The Rosco Hazemaker creates a haze effect to enhance both scenery and lighting. Most often compared to a “cracked oil” effect, the Rosco Hazemaker uses a proprietary water soluble fluid that contains no animal, vegetable, or mineral oil. By eliminating the oil, Rosco eliminates the residue build-up on sensitive electronic equipment commonly associated with other hazers. The Hazemaker has an air compressor built inside and is designed to run continuously to fill the venue and maintain the haze effect. Fill the Chiller Module basket with dry, or regular ice. Attach the 5' Ducting Hose, that is included, to a Hose Adapter affixed to the front of a Model 1600, 1500 or 1000. (Note: The Hose Adapter must be used to achieve the effect.) Attach the other end of hose to the inlet port of the Chiller Module. There’s no animal, vegetable or mineral oil in this fluid – but that’s only one of its features. /QFGN With its exclusive peristaltic pump system, the Model 1600 offers a large range of fog output that can propel either billowing clouds or small wisps at the turn of a dial. The optional Super Remote offers timers to regulate programmable On/Off cycles for hands free operation. An optional DMX Interface is available to operate the machine from a DMX control board. The Model 1600 features a compressed air port to allow easy cleaning of the heat exchanger. In addition, the introduction of compressed air can be used to help create a wide variety of special fog effects. 2( 2GPEKN(QIIGT The PF-1000 Pencil Fogger is designed for remote, precise applications where the use of a standard fog machine is not practical. A basic system consists of a separate Heat Exchanger Module, a Control Center and related tubing and wiring. The small size of the system allows it to be used in places a standard fog machine can not fit, such as in props and animated mannequins. Regulated compressed air can be introduced through the heat exchanger to add to the creation of punctuated effects and for cleaning. The system can be controlled directly from the Control Center or with modification, be activated through a lighting control board or a show control computer. The Rosco DMX Interface has been designed to control Rosco fog machines through industry standard DMX lighting consoles. The Interface will allow volume control of the Models 1600, 1500, and 4500. The unit draws its power from the fog machine in the same manner as a standard or Super Remote module. The unit is addressable to any DMX channel via (8 way) dip switch settings using the binary code system. There is a second set of dip switches (5 way) that can be used to set the output volume so that the output can be limited and then controlled on the DMX control console.
The Super Remote Control has a timer module that can regulate the on and off times of the Model 1500, 4500 and 1600 fog machines for hands-free operation. In addition, it features the same controls as the those found on the control panel of the machines including fog volume control and fog on/momentary switch.
