OTHER SERVICES OFFERED The facilities of Scanaviation, covering several thousand square feet of space, house a range of workshops in which a variety of processes are performed. We have a machine shop, specialist welding shop, paint shop, electro mechanical shop, hose shop, to name a few.
HISTORY – 65 YEARS IN AVIATION! Scanaviation was founded in 1950 by J.F. Rasmussen. Since 1950 Scanaviation‘s core activity has been overhaul and repair of aircraft engines, propellers and components. The overhaul and repair of engines totals approximately 200-300 a year and an even higher amount of propellers and components. Over the years more than 10000 engines have been through our workshop and a considerably higher amount of propellers and components!

PISTON ENGINES & PARTS Scanaviation has during the last 65 years been working with aircraft engines, from complete overhaul to repair including shock-loading inspection. We are the # 1 shop in northern Europe. We work on more engines than any other shop in the region. Reliability, precision, flexibility and sky-high professionalism are all quality parameters paired with full government approval. No engine leaves our shop without a final test-run in our own test bay. A release tag from Scanaviation is a guarantee for superior safety and performance. Don‘t go for less! PROPELLERS Scanaviation is a service centre for these most common manufactures. Our reputation is unrivalled no matter if it has to do with a fixed pitch propeller or a more sophisticated and complex variable pitch propeller. We service them all, and we have all the necessary equipment and tooling to do a 100 percent inside job without costly delays. Up to date documentation, know-how, experience and genuine parts are used to secure minimum down time an maximum quality. All manufactures service bulletins are complied with. We stock a large inventory of spare parts and components with full traceability to the OEM. A Scanaviation label on a propeller is the proof that it has been serviced in accordance with the manufacturer‘s specifications!

OVERHAUL/EXCHANGE ACCESSORIES & COMPONENTS The combination of in-house capabilities, component pools and agreements with exterior EASA approved facilities enables us to offer a 100 percent complete package of components - no matter what manufacturer or purpose. We are capable of delivering service to GA components comprising: starters, alternators, magnetos, pumps, fuel injection systems, vacuum pumps, carburetors, turbochargers, governors, heaters, generators, motors, blowers, actuators, landing gears, regulators, starter generators and much, much more. These components are offered on outright basis, exchange or repaired as required. Components that we do not deliver right off the shelf, we deliver with shortest possible lead-time from approved sources.
