PR Contact: Masha Lakhter 914.667.9700 xt. 210 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE [email protected] PR Image: KD-HDFIX22 Key Digital Introduces Go-To Device for Digital Video Installations KD-HDFix22 Addresses All Common HDMI Connectivity Problems Mount Vernon, NY – March 31, 2017 – The award winning manufacturer of professional A/V and Control systems introduce the KD-HDFIX22, the HDCP 2.2 compliant HDMI Extender, booster & buffer of EDID, TMDS, and HPD with built-in digital coaxial and analog L/R audio de-embedder and Ultra HD/4K resolution support up to 4K/30 [4:4:4] or 4K/60 [4:2:0]. The KD-HDFIX22 is capable of extending UHD 4K and 1080p resolutions up to 75' into the unit and up to 75' on the opposite side leaving the unit. KD-HDFIX22 has built-in HDMI correction which resolves common HDMI integration obstacles such as HDCP, EDID, HPD, and audio breakout. Full Buffer System technology manages TMDS re-clocking and signal re-generation, HDCP authentication to source & display, and EDID control handshake. “Unlike many manufacturers, Key Digital has had EDID control for 9 years. EDID control has 16 different settings inside the software that has proven time and time again to bail installers and integrators out of EDID misreads. HDCP authentication on the HDMI input gives the source the information and file it needs, and as the name implies the KD-HDFIX22 is 2.2 compliant. This compliancy plus the EDID control means that a source can output at 4K 30 frames per second, which is HDCP 1.x protected” said Jonathon Ferry, National Training Manager for Key Digital. With audio de-embedding, audio from the HDMI input is de-embedded through the coax digital (PCM) and analog L/R audio output. The KD-HDFIX22 has an Auto-EQ which gives precise signal equalization that is applied to the input and output signals and automatically delivers best possible picture quality. Forced Hot Plug Detection enables the integrator or user to choose if the active signal voltage is forced to the connected input device.
