(1) Remove all USB devices and then attach a 1GB or 2GB USB drive (2) (SanDisk USB only [A] ) - run SanDiskFIX to remove hidden partition (3) Run special USBformat [B] to make USB drive bootable and FAT32 compatible --- click [Parts Manage] + [USB Reformat] + [USB-HDD Single] + [Fat32] + [OK] (4) Run YUMI [C] to add Linux distros one by one from ISO directory --- bodhi, racy (puppy), slitaz, hirens --(5) Copy (merge) directory "multiboot" to USB drive to update menus (6) Shut down then Restart PC and start pressing F12 to get boot menu (7) Select USB drive and press ENTER to bring up YUMI multiboot menu _________________________________________________________________ [A] For SanDisk Cruzer (and similar) USB flash drives only: [B] special USBformat to make USB drive bootable and FAT32 compatible [C] YUMI multiboot creator / updater Create multiboot USB flash drive live/RAM system (750MB data) Linux ISO: Puppy, Bodhi, Slitaz, *Hirens 15.1 lite NOTES: (1) Puppy (Racy) Linux is best for new Linux users, Slitaz for advanced users (2) Puppy, Bodhi, and Slitaz Linux were selected for speed and small size (3) Hirens "Lite" reduced to half-size by removing Pmagic, Avira, and ClamAV (4) Puppy + Bodhi + Slitaz + Hirens = 750MB - recommended for 1GB USB (5) Add optional AVG antivirus and Gparted for 2GB or 4GB USB drives (6) You can add more Linux ISOs to your multiboot 2+GB USB flash drive (7) Copying one multiboot directory to a second USB drive does not work Unfortunately, you need to use YUMI for each USB multiboot install (8) Slitaz is very small and very fast but it is also kind of experimental I was unable to get Slitaz to set up my wifi and so wired internet is best http://www.pendrivelinux.com/yumi-multiboot-usb-creator/ http://www.gooplusplus.com/
