Foundation Series Hybrid Digital Routers Double the Number of Outputs in the Same Footprint
Perfect for Multiviewer and Monitoring Applications
Your Foundation for the Future

Same Footprint, Twice the Outputs More and more large-screen displays come with built-in multiviewer technology, giving users the ability to view multiple images on a single screen. With this development, broadcasters need to dedicate multiple outputs to monitoring, which until now has required the addition of more space-eating equipment to accomplish the task. With the all-new Utah Scientific Foundation Series, we’ve launched the ideal solution. Perfect for many broadcast, mobile, corporate, and postproduction applications, the Foundation Series doubles the routers’ outputs without increasing the overall footprint. The result? Efficient and feature-rich signal routing — with the unique ability to drive normal cable runs as well as short runs to monitoring devices such as multiviewers. The Foundation Series leverages technology in our renowned UTAH-400 Series 2 router family to offer a single platform for all digital router applications and handle all digital signal formats. You can deploy routers in a rectangular configuration, rather than the traditional square router design, and you can add more outputs while still maintaining full crosspoint redundancy. Twice the outputs to drive multiviewers
Foundation Series routers can be controlled by any of our current routing control systems. Plus, you can load them up with all of the advanced feature cards currently available for Series 2 routers, including IP gateways, embedders/de-embedders, frame synchronizers, advanced audio features, and clean/quiet outputs. And just like every Utah Scientific solution, the Foundation Series is backed by Utah Scientific’s four-decade track record of delivering the industry’s most advanced signal distribution technology. Utah Scientific is still the only manufacturer to offer a 10-year warranty as standard along with no-fee customer support.
