FourTrax Rancher 4x4 ESP Gear shifts are as easy as touching a button with Honda’s popular Electric Shift Program (ESP)—a feature that’s helped the FourTrax® Rancher® 4x4 ESP become a worldwide favorite. This hard-running machine incorporates 2WD/4WD TraxLok plus fuel injection for smooth throttle response and great fuel efficiency. Fun and easy to operate, the Rancher 4x4 ESP is tough to top.

Longitudinally mounted engine allows direct driveshaft alignment to both front and rear wheels for maximum drivetrain efficiency (see Technology Section). Honda’s exclusive Electric Shift Program (ESP) offers easy shifts with the touch of handlebar-mounted buttons (see Technology Section). Five-speed transmission with Reverse includes an ultra-low First gear which is helpful when towing heavy loads. Honda TraxLok 2WD/4WD system offers 2WD for more nimble handling and 4WD with TraxLok torque-sensing front differential for extra traction when needed (see Technology Section). Front and rear shocks feature adjustable spring preload that allows suspension tuning to match varying loads and riding conditions. Enclosed-axle swingarm is tough and durable.
