FOX5 Tactical Surveillance Probe Kit Product data Sheet The FOX5 Tactical Surveillance Probe Kit is a specialised group of through-wall probes, typically used in low noise drilling operations. The kit contains optical probes for viewing through pinholes or monitoring drilling progress and an audio probe system. Also included are tactical motion sensors – wireless PIR motion sensors that can be placed near an operation to discreetly alert of any compromising approaches. Viewing of the endoscope images can be made with the eye, or on the 5.6” DVR monitor. The monitor also supplies power to either the supplied black & white or colour endoscope cameras. Finally, the highest quality and totally custom built Cordura back pack. All items are housed in a hard foam interior, while the outside gives a discreet appearance. The benefit of hands free carrying, heavy duty straps and top grab handle mean reliability and confidence that your covert operation will have the desired outcome. FOX5 Kit Contents Retractable 1mm rigid fibrescope The retractable 1mm rigid fibrescope is a highly specialised micro endoscope used to produce an image through a final pinhole following a drilling operation. A 1mm diameter micro fibre-scope probe is contained inside a 6mm diameter insertion tube, connected to a flexible section with a viewing eyepiece. The main insertion tube is inserted into a drilled hole. The 1mm probe is then accurately centred at the pinhole and can be inserted and locked at the exact safe position using a scale on the other end of the tube. This instrument can be used with the eye, or with either the black and white or colour camera and the 5.6” DVR monitor. Recommended for use through pinholes up to 25mm length in hard or soft building materials. The 6.35mm diameter, 345mm long stainless steel probe has a 1mm coned lens tip. The probe can produce a full screen video image through 2.5mm of 1mm pin-holed material. The probe can be used with either the black and white or colour camera and the 5.6” DVR monitor. Ideal for through wall use where the final pinhole is made in plasterboard, thus allowing the pinhole length to be reduced until a full screen image is achieved. Positionable Fibrescope This fibrescope is 6mm diameter with internal illumination and a positionable flexible insertion tube. This endoscope is designed to be used to check the progress of holes being drilled. Such monitoring may be to view changes in building materials at different stages, dust build up, and most importantly the final pin-holing stage. As it may be used many times during an operation, the insertion tube is finished with a tough black plastic outer covering to minimise wear and metal scratching noises. The LED light source operates from 2 x AA cells, which are readily available. This instrument can be used with the eye or with the colour camera and 5.6” DVR monitor. The insertion probe is 6mm diameter x 345mm working length. A removable 1 metre lead connects the probe with an amplifier unit which is mountable on the belt of the operator. Headphones are plugged into the front panel via the 3.5mm jack socket. The unit has a 12V internal battery pack. To charge the unit, simply plug in the 3-pin connector from the supplied charger to the side of the unit. The system will work for up to 7 hours from a full battery charge. (model subject to change) Tactical Motion Sensors The tactical motion sensors are a wireless PIR motion detection system. An alert signal is sent to a pocket sized receiver if a large object (human) passes within 3 metres of a sensor. The system, although very simple is effective at providing perimeter security during a covert operation. The basic set contains 2 sensors, however up to 4 can be used with a receiver, and different additional types of sensor can be added for longer range detection, wide angle detection, remote head sensors etc. The receiver is charged via USB, and the sensors are powered by high drain lithium ½ AA cells.
