HDV62 1-CH PCI Express® HDMI Video Capture Card Introduction The HDV62 is a PCI Express frame grabber offering uncompressed image acquisition and video streaming in full 1080p HD. The ADLINK HDV62 provides 1920x1080p resolution, progressive scan, and noise reduction for greater image quality. Equipped with a field programmable gate array (FPGA) and 512 MB memory buffer, the HDV62 offers the ability to stream uncompressed image to the host PC, in addition to color space conversion in real-time via on-board hardware in order to offload repetitive tasks from the host CPU. Based on the PCI Express x4 form factor, the HDV62 is specifically designed for medical imaging, scientific imaging, and military application system integrators by providing uncompressed video streaming up to 1920x1080p at 60 fps and lossless pixel information for both spatial and frequency domain analysis.

Grablink Base Cost-effective Single Channel PoCL Frame Grabber Introduction The Grablink Base is a cost-effective full-featured frame grabber for one Camera Link® camera applications. It supports one Camera Link® Base configuration camera as well as featuring on-board processing and one rich set of I/O lines. The Grablink Base features a 1-lane PCI Express® bus.
Flexible and Reliable Area-scan Acquisition Modes ◆ Trigger When the part is in front of the camera, a trigger is generated and sent to the Grablink to start the acquisition. This external signal is generated by any type of external hardware device, such as a sensor, which is connected to one of the input lines of the Grablink boards. A "software" trigger signal may also be generated by the host application. • Trigger delay: In order to accommodate different positions of the sensor, an optional programmable trigger delay may postpone the start of the acquisition for a given number microseconds.

Quadrature Motion Encoder Supports Quadrature motion encoders use two signals (or phases), called A and B, that the Grablink board can interpret to know in which direction (forward or backward) the part is moving. ◆ With the optional direction selector, the user can define which direction is considered as the forward direction for the application, A to B or B to A. Optionally, the Grablink can be instructed to acquire lines only when the object is moving forward, or only when the object is moving backward. ◆ With the backward motion cancellation, the Grablink is capable of stopping the acquisition when a backward motion is detected. The line acquisition automatically resumes when the motion is again in the forward direction at the exact place where the acquisition was interrupted.

High-Performance Line-scan Acquisition Modes ◆ The Grablink acquisition boards feature several acquisition modes dedicated to line-scan cameras: • Continuous web scanning to inspect infinite, continuously moving surfaces without losing a single line.
• Successive object scanning to acquire the image of objects moving in front of the camera. The acquisition starts when each object enters the camera field of view, as signaled by an external trigger.
◆
Trigger Typically, a trigger is used to start the acquisition of lines when the part to be inspected is in position. This external signal is generated by any type of external hardware device, such as a sensor, which is connected to one of the input lines of the Grablink boards. A "software" trigger signal may also be generated by the host application.
• Grablink supports start and end triggers. After it is started, the acquisition either √ Continues indefinitely (for web inspection applications) √ Continues for a programmable number of lines (to acquire the image of objects with a known length) √ Continues until an end trigger is received (to acquire the image of objects with a variable length) • Trigger delay: In order to accommodate different positions of the sensor, an optional programmable trigger delay is able to delay the start of the acquisition of a given number of lines.
Quadrature Motion Encoder Supports (Please refer to page 1-9 for details.) Quadrature motion encoders use two signals (or phases) that the Grablink series can interpret to know in which direction (forward or backward) the part is moving.

Picolo U4/U8/U16 H.264 H.264 Compression Cards for 4/8/16 Video Inputs with Audio Capability
Introduction The Picolo U4, U8, and U16 H.264, respectively feature 4, 8, and 16 video input channels along with audio capability. These cards deliver dual output streams per video input: an H.264 compressed stream for highquality recording on hard disks and an uncompressed stream for immediate display of the camera signal and for the application of real-time video analytics. To fit any surveillance application, the possible settings of these output streams are completely independent. These PCI Express cards are equipped with 4, 8 or 16 highquality audio inputs as well as 8, 16 or 32 I/O lines. Coming with simple and convenient Windows DirectShow and Linux drivers, the Picolo U4, U8, and U16 H.264 are easy to use and can be immediately integrated into any DVR or CCTV application design. Domino Harmony 2-CH Color/Monochrome Progressive Scan Analog Frame Grabber Introduction The Domino Harmony is a dual-camera acquisition board for industrial monochrome and RGB analog cameras. It incorporates D3 Technology™ to provide perfect digital images to color applications.
D3 Technology™ Benefits
◆
No need for pixel clock, or even HD/VD, thanks to absolute digital stability
◆
Simplified cabling, improved robustness
◆
Excellent performance reproducibility
Grayscale Camera
RGB Camera
◆
Reduce the analog processing of the video signal to a minimum • Ultra-low jitter, JITTER = 0.32 ns • High image quality, SNR = 64 dB
Analog
Features ■ 64-bit, 66MHz PCI bus ■ One RGB or two monochrome cameras ■ Four 10-bit, 40 MHz A/D converters ■ Two DMA channels ■ Trigger, strobe I/O and two enhanced I/O lines ■ Asynchronous reset support, shutter control, synchronization ■ 32 MB frame buffer
Applications ■ ■ ■ ■ ■ ■
Quality control Semiconductor inspection PCB inspections FPD inspections On-the-fly image acquisition High frame rate image acquisition
D3 Technology performs all the following functions in the digital domain:
◆
Black level restoration
◆
Sampling clock generation
◆
Gain, offset control
◆
Color sub-carrier removal
◆
Control over horizontal and vertical pixel counts
◆
Synchronization recovery: vertical and horizontal
◆
Low-pass filtering
In the new Domino frame grabbers implementing D3 Technology, the input video signal is immediately digitized with a very high accuracy and a high frequency. Analog conditioning of the signal is reduced to a minimum and all signal processing tasks traditionally performed by analog circuits are now carried out in the digital domain.
